What is Hive Buzz?

When you have been on the blockchain for a while, you tend to take things for granted. I discovered over the weekend that some newer members might not know about Hive Buzz.

Hive Buzz is your central location for your achievements, your advancements, and for your power-up stats.

There is a lot of useful information on the Hive Buzz site but in this post I want to show you a place where you can get yourself off to a good start.

You will see when you log in to https://hivebuzz.me/ your current stats as well as tabs that take you to further information about your account and achievements.

Click on the TOUR tab

This section will get you off to a great start and will help you increase your presence on Hive.

Simply scroll through all of the steps, starting with setting up your profile and adding an avatar or photo.

Next, you will scroll down to the "Introduce yourself" section and you will see what to do to write an introduction post.

You can write a post that will introduce you to the Hive world.
It is important to use the proper tag as noted on the site.

#Introduceyourself should be the first tag on your post

Now, do not get overly concerned about what to write. Just be yourself and tell us who you are and what you hope to achieve on Hive.

This does not need to be a Pulitzer prize novel. Keep it simple and be yourself.

There is NOT a time limit to when you need to write your introductory post. If you have been around a while and never wrote one, you can still post one.

That is kind of you bringing about the Hive buzz site to the fore. It is true some newbies may not really know and visit the site for information about themselves.

Proper use of tags is important. I already published my self-introduction twice before I stumbled upon Hive Buzz.

HiveBuzz is one of the first tools that a newbie should be introduced to on Hive. Especially people who are used to CTP. Makes the transition easier. Well done, John!

Yea I think HIVE Buzz is an underrated resource. A lot of people only associate with badges but there is a lot of good info and walkthroughs there.

So I have tried to do the #introduceyourself thing and it didn't work because ctptalk automatically puts a tag in the front of the tags list. Am I missing something, because it seems like it should be an easy achievement.

Try publishing the post in PeakD; then, you can achieve the intro step. Then you can open your post in CTPtalk and use that address to place the post in CTPX.
