I Bought Make-up, Skincare and Haircare Products with my Hive savings (ENG/SPA)

Yesterday I went shopping with my Hive savings and bought a compendium of make-up, skincare and haircare products that we (my mum, sister and I) needed.
El día de ayer fui de compras con mis ahorros de Hive y compré un compendio de productos de maquillaje, skincare y haircare que necesitábamos (mi mamá mi hermana y yo)
I have to say that I haven't let my hair grow for a while now for various reasons. My hair used to be long and it was purple, so I had to bleach it first, then I changed the colour to turquoise and cut it a bit to use less product. I let it grow out and stopped dyeing it, so the turquoise colour went down.
Debo decir que desde hace un tiempo que no dejo crecer mi cabello por diversos motivos. Antes tenía el cabello largo hasta las caderas y de color violeta, para ello tuve que decolorarlo primero, después cambié el color a turquesa y lo corté un poco para gastar menos producto. Lo dejé crecer y dejé de teñirlo, así que el color turquesa bajó a los largos.
When I was in Colombia, I wanted to remove the colour from the ends of my hair, but several stylists told me that it was not advisable because it would be too damaged, and then it would have to be cut. As I didn't want to keep having turquoise ends, I got a pixie cut and dyed it, this time in pink.
Cuando estuve en Colombia, quise quitarme el color de las puntas del cabello, pero varios estilistas me dijeron que no era recomendable porque se dañaría mucho, y después habría que cortarlo. Como no quería seguir teniendo las puntas turquesas me hice un corte pixie y lo teñí, esta vez de color rosa palo.
It is the colour I have liked the most, however, maintaining it was extremely difficult, I had to moisturise it too much and even then it deteriorated more and more. In the end I dyed my hair brown, however, the dyed part started to get lighter (even though I had used my natural hair colour) and I had to wait for it to grow out a bit to get rid of the damaged patches, so I decided to go back to the pixie cut to get rid of the damaged hair completely.
Es el color que más me ha gustado, sin embargo, mantenerlo era supremamente difícil, tenía que hidratarlo demasiado y aun así se fue deteriorando cada vez más. Al final me teñí de castaño, sin embargo, la parte teñida se empezó a aclarar (aunque había usado mi tono de cabello natural) y tuve que esperar que creciera un poco para deshacerme de las puntas dañadas, entonces decidí volver al corte pixie para deshacerme por completo del cabello dañado.
Now that it is totally healthy, I want to moisturize it and let it grow back to my hips (the original length I had) for this, I bought an onion hair mask (apparently it stimulates hair growth) I also bought two ampoules, one was of keratin and the other one was to nourish and give shine, both I mixed with the mask (I will use it soon and I will do a review). As I say, I plan to use it once a week with the aim of making my hair grow faster and be healthy. I also bought a sachet of heat protectant to protect my hair from the heat of the iron and the sun.
Ahora que ya está totalmente saludable, quiero hidratarlo y dejarlo crecer de nuevo hasta mis caderas (el largo original que tenía) para ello, compré una mascarilla para el cabello de cebolla (aparentemente estimula el crecimiento del cabello) compré además dos ampollas, una de keratina y otra para nutrir y dar brillo, ambas las mezclé con la mascarilla (la usaré en breve y haré una review). Como digo pienso usarla una vez por semana con el objetivo de que mi cabello crezca más rápido y que además esté sano. Siguiendo con mi cabello, también compré un sachet de protector de calor para protegerlo del calor de la plancha y del sol.
Continuing with the things I bought, let's talk about make-up. The truth is that my make-up is fortunately quite complete, so I bought some of the little I needed: fairy powder and a loose powder. It's a powder that one of my best friends recommended me, I wanted to buy both the translucent and the coloured one and try which one was better, however, I only got the translucent one, I'll try it tomorrow when I have to go out and I'll do my make up. On the other hand the fairy dust is shimmery powder that reflects light, it can be put on skin or hair or also mixed with pigment and give a satin sheen to eyeshadows, the only bad thing about the one I bought is that I noticed it's sealed, so I can't use it for blending but at least it will help give a nice finish to my makeup or hairstyles if I choose to use it on my hair.
Siguiendo con las cosas que compré, hablaremos del maquillaje. La verdad mi maquillaje por ahora está bastante completo afortunadamente, así que compré parte de lo poco que me hacía falta: polvo de hadas y un polvo suelto. Es un polvo que me recomendó una de mis mejores amigas, quería comprar tanto el traslucido como el de color y probar cual era mejor, sin embargo, solo conseguí el traslucido, lo probaré mañana que debo salir y me maquillaré. Por otro lado el polvo de hadas es polvillo brillante que refleja la luz, puede ponerse sobre la piel o el cabello o también mezclarse con pigmento y darle un brillo satinado a las sombras de ojos, lo único malo del que compré es que me di cuenta de que está sellado, así que no puedo usarlo para mezclarlo pero al menos ayudará a darle un bonito acabado a mi maquillaje o peinados si elijo usarlo en el cabello.
To finish, let's talk about the skincare I bought, for this we went to Redvital, a pharmaceutical company whose shops are quite big and has national and international products of various brands, however, one of my cousins recommended me especially the line of serums of the shop, The bad thing is that yesterday when I went to the shop they were out of the ones she had recommended, however there were still a couple that could work for me according to my skin type and pathology (I suffer from hormonal acne) so I bought a salicylic acid serum (to keep breakouts at bay) and a hyaluronic acid one which helps to moisturize and also with the texture of the skin. On top of that, my cousin also recommended the cetaphil moisturiser, the large version costs 32$ however, the travel bottle costs 1$ and is enough to use on the face as using it on a small area will do the trick.
Para terminar, hablaremos del skincare que compré, para ello nos trasladamos a Redvital, una compañía farmacéutica cuyas tiendas son bastante grandes y tiene productos nacionales e internacionales de diversas marcas, sin embargo, una de mis primas me recomendó especialmente la línea de serums de la tienda, lo malo es que ayer que fui ya no había los que ella me había recomendado, sin embargo aún quedaban un par que podían funcionarme según mi tipo de piel y patología (sufro de acné hormonal) así que compré un serum de ácido salicílico (para mantener a raya los brotes) y uno de ácido hialurónico el cual ayuda a hidratar y también con la textura de la piel. Además de eso, mi prima también me recomendó la crema hidratante de cetaphil, la versión grande cuesta 32$ sin embargo, el frasco viajero cuesta 1$ y es suficiente para usar en el rostro, ya que al usarse en un área pequeña rendirá bastante.
I also bought two packs of makeup remover wipes, one contains micellar water and the other hyaluronic acid, I use the wipes only to remove excess makeup and then wash my face with my special soap (NEVER REMOVE YOUR MAKE UP WITH THESE WIPES ONLY OR CLEAN YOUR FACE WITHOUT WASHING IT THEN, ASSUMING YOUR SKIN IS CLEAN) you should always cleanse and then wash your skin. In addition I bought an aloe vera mask which I will try in a while as I have an appointment tomorrow and I want to look as presentable as possible.
También compré dos paquetes de toallitas desmaquillantes, una contiene agua micelar y la otra ácido hialurónico, las toallas las uso solo para quitarme el exceso de maquillaje y posteriormente lavo mi cara con mi jabón especial (NUNCA TE DESMAQUILLES SOLAMENTE CON ESTAS TOALLAS O TE LIMPIES LA CARA SIN LAVARLA LUEGO, DANDO POR SENTADO QUE ESTÁ LIMPIA TU PIEL) siempre debes limpiar y luego lavar tu piel. En adición compré una mascarilla de aloe vera que probaré en un rato ya que mañana tengo un compromiso y quiero estar lo más presentable posible.

Waoo me encantaron tus colores de cabello, y entiendo totalmente tu cambio de querer dejarlo crecer y que sane de nuevo.. yo también me había pintado el cabello, siento que en algun momento todos debimos pasar por eso o al menos tener las ganas de pintarlo, pero sí mantener el cabello así es demasiado difícil, por eso después de casi 6 meses me dejé de pintármelo y también por la universidad, espero tu review de las ampollas y te deseo que te crezca bastante bonito el cabello, un saludo <3
Hahaha muchas gracias!! Sí, ahora igual debo cuidarlo pero es solo eso, cuidarlo, no cuidarlo y teñirlo haha. Yo quedé fascinada con el último que tuve (el rosa palo) si tengo una oportunidad comprare una peluca de cabello natural con ese color haha así podré tenerlo sin teñirme de nuevo 😊
