¡I want to show you my plants / Quiero mostrarte mis plantas! (ENG/SPA)

Hello, internet people! I hope you're well. Today I want to make a very simple post, I will show you my plants, to which, I'm very fond of. I hope you like it.

¡Hola, gente de internet! Espero que estén bien. Hoy quiero hacer un post muy sencillo, simplemente les enseñaré mis plantas, a las cuales, les tengo mucho cariño. Espero que les guste.

I'm a nature lover and I love to be in contact with nature, so it's natural that I spend most of the morning working on my plants. I currently have one cucumber plant, three sweet bell pepper plants, many coriander plants and my mom has a couple of passion fruit plants, but I will tell you more about them later.

Soy amante de la naturaleza y me encanta el contacto con ella, por eso, es natural que pase gran parte de la mañana trabajando en mis plantas. Actualmente tengo una planta de pepino, tres de ajíes, muchas de cilantro, y mi mamá tiene un par de plantas de parchita (maracuyá), pero de ella les hablare más adelante.

Planta de pepino / Cucumber plant

It's already a bit more grown, but by the time I took the photo, it was a small bush with no hooks (twisting stems). Now I had to put a grid behind it, because it's growing hooks and is starting to get tangled up in it.

Ya está algo más crecida, pero para el momento en el que le hice la foto, era un pequeño arbusto sin ganchos. Ahora tuve que colocar una rejilla detrás de ella porque están saliéndole esos ganchitos o pequeños tallos que se enroscan, y está empezando a enredarse en ella.

Initially it was growing crooked, so I took bits of fabric and I had to straighten the stem and tie it to the grid to help the twisting stems to get tangled in it, so it can grow in the right direction. When it grows more and has the first flowers, I will update the progress.

Inicialmente estaba creciendo torcida, entonces tomé trocitos de tela y tuve que enderezar el tallo y amarrarlo a la rejilla para ayudar a los tallos que se enroscan a enredarse en ella para lograr que pueda crecer en la dirección correcta. Cuando crezca más y tenga las primera flores, actualizaré los avances.

Plantas de Ajíes /sweet bell pepper

These are my sweet bell pepper plants, the truth is that they aren't difficult to take care of, I simply remove the leaves that look yellow and are dying (because they take nutrients away from the green and alive ones) and I water them regularly (mornings and afternoons).

Estas son mis plantas de ajíes dulces, la verdad no son difíciles de cuidar, simplemente quito las hojas que se ven amarillas y están muriendo (pues éstas les quitan nutrientes a las que están verdes y vivas) y las riego con regularidad (mañanas y tardes).

It already has some peppers, as you can see, although now there are more and they are already grown. There are also some bulbs that in a few days will be new peppers.

Ya tiene algunos ajíes, como pueden ver, aunque ahora ya hay más y están crecidos. También hay algunos bulbos que en unos cuantos días, serán nuevos ajíes.

The process of the sweet bell pepper is simple. The plant grows step by step and once it grows to where it should, it starts to grow flowers (like the ones you can see in the pictures), later, those flowers dry and the bulbs begin to emerge from it, which later will be the peppers, the dried flower remains at the bottom of the bell pepper. You can have fun looking for the process in the pictures because, there are flowers that begin to dry, already grown peppers and others in growth.

El proceso de las plantas de ajíes es simple. La planta va creciendo poco a poco y una vez que crece hasta donde debe, empiezan a salirle flores (como las que pueden ver en las fotografías), posteriormente, esas flores se secan y empieza a emerger de ella los bulbos que posteriormente serán los ajíes, la flor seca queda en la parte de abajo del ají. Pueden divertirse buscando el proceso en las fotos pues, hay flores que empiezan a secarse, ajíes ya crecidos y otros en crecimiento.

Plantas de Cilantro / Coriander Plants

Honestly Coriander is a very fertile and low care plant, I just water them every morning and every evening (twilight). It always grows much faster than I take some for cooking hehe, that's great. I love the taste, so I'm happy that it grows so much and so fast that it looks like grass.

Honestamente el cilantro es una planta muy fértil y de poco cuidado, solo me aboco a regarlos cada mañana y cada tarde (crepúsculo). Siempre crece mucho más rápido de lo que tomo algunos para cocinar jeje, eso es genial. Amo su sabor así que estoy feliz de que crezca tanto y tan rápido que parece césped.
