Hola hola gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Hoy les voy a dejar por aquí el link a la iniciativa semanal de @ladiesofhive que va muy acorde con la realidad que vivimos hoy en día las mujeres.
1️⃣ How do you balance your responsibilities to your family, career, and yourself?
1️⃣ ¿Cómo equilibra sus responsabilidades con su familia, su carrera y usted mismo?
Well, the truth is, it's quite difficult for me, considering my current job as a nanny is very demanding. I often work much more than the standard eight hours a day; sometimes I work 14 hours and only have one day off a week. Obviously, this leaves me with very little time for myself and my family. Fortunately, I'm not married and don't have children because in that case, it would be impossible for me to have such a demanding job in terms of time and energy. But that doesn't mean I don't long to spend more time with my parents and sister (with whom I live) and also with my friends. However, I try to allocate the little time I have left to spend time with those I love. Last week, for example, I went out for ice cream with some friends, and we had a great time catching up on everything. I'm also planning to study photography in the future, so I'm already coordinating with my bosses to ensure my one day off is truly productive and enriching for my personal and professional growth.
Bueno la verdad es que para mi es bastante difícil tomando en cuenta que mi actual trabajo como niñera es muy demandante, a menudo trabajo mucho más que las ocho horas diarias reglamentales, hay ocasiones en las que trabajo 14 horas y solo tengo un día libre a la semana y evidentemente esto me deja con muy poco tiempo para mi y mi familia. Afortunadamente no estoy casada y no tengo hijos porque en ese caso me resultaría imposible tener un trabajo tan demandante en cuanto a tiempo y energía se refiere, pero eso no quiere decir que yo no anhele pasar más tiempos con mis padres y hermana (con los que vivo) y también con mis amigos, sin embargo yo trato de distribuir el poco tiempo que me queda para pasar el rato con aquellos que amo, la semana pasada por ejemplo, fui con unos amigos a comer helado, y la verdad es que la pasamos muy bien poniendonos al día con todas las novedades. De la misma manera estoy planeando a futuro estudiar fotografías, así que ya voy calibrando la situación con mis jefes para que mi único día libre sea en realidad muy productivo y más enriquecedor para mi y mi crecimiento personal y profesional.
2️⃣ What does being a responsible woman mean to you in today's world?
2️⃣ ¿Qué significa para ti ser una mujer responsable en el mundo actual?
A responsible woman, in my view, in today's world has a lot to do with the previous question, because she has to know how to manage a good balance between her work and personal life, she must be aware of her own limits, she must be in constant growth, she must learn to love and respect herself, embrace her femininity, and be empathetic with other women.
Una mujer responsable para mi en el mundo actual en el que vivimos tiene muchísimo que ver con la pregunta anterior, pues tiene que saber manejar un buen equilibrio entre su vida laboral y personal, debe ser consciente de sus propios límites, debe estar en constante crecimiento, debe aprender a amarse y respetarse a si misma, abrazar su feminidad y ser empática con otras mujeres.
