My Drawing Practices (ENG/SPA)
Hello, internet people! Today I want to show you a drawing I made, I quite liked the result. I must say that as I'm learning to draw, there are times when I replicate drawings from other artists, in this case I looked for a reference on Pinterest to do, and this is the original drawing and the link to go see it:
¡Hola, gente de internet! Hoy quiero mostrarles un dibujo que hice, me gustó bastante el resultado. Debo decir que como estoy aprendiendo a dibujar, hay veces en las que replico dibujos de otros artistas, en este caso busqué una referencia en Pinterest para hacer, y este es el dibujo original y el link para ir a verlo:
In the case of the artist, he decided to use indelible markers and micro-tip pens. Since I don't have markers, I decided to do it with two drawing pencils (2b and Hb) in orange, light green and dark green and my micropoint pen.
En el caso del artista decidió utilizar marcadores indelebles y lapiceros micropunta. Como yo no tengo marcadores, decidí hacerlo con dos lápices de dibujo (2b y Hb) colores naranja, verde claro y oscuro y mi lapicero micropunta.
I started by outlining the worksheet and making the first strokes with the 2b pencil.
Empecé delimitando la hoja de trabajo y haciendo los primeros trazos con el lápiz 2b
Clearly at first it doesn't look as round as it should but thanks to the type of pencil, we can erase and correct, although I usually correct over the stroke and lightly highlight the correct stroke and don't erase until the drawing is almost ready.
Claramente al principio no se ve tan redondo como debería, pero gracias al tipo de lápiz, podemos borrar y corregir, aunque normalmente corrijo sobre el trazo y remarco ligeramente el trazo correcto y no borro hasta que ya está casi listo el dibujo.
Step by Step it started to take shape. Then I started to do the shading because I wanted to mark this part even if I had to highlight it again later, I also started coloring step by step.
Poco a poco comenzó a tomar forma. Entonces empecé a hacer el sombreado porque quería ya ir marcando esta parte, aunque tuviera que remarcarlo después de nuevo, además también empecé colorear de a poco.
And once I had all the color I needed, I started to do the outline with the micro-tip pen. that's how the drawing comes to life.
Y una vez que tenía todo el color que necesitaba, empecé a hacer el delineado con el lapicero micropunta, es así como el dibujo va cobrando vida.
And this was the final result. Although the original is better, I think my drawing is quite similar and these practices will make me have more skills and learn about depth, textures, lights and shadows, etc.
Y este fue el resultado final. Aunque el original es mejor, creo que mi dibujo se le asemeja bastante y estas prácticas me harán tener más habilidades y aprender sobre profundidad, texturas, luces y sombras, etc
