Partying at Mount Masive: Otlast Gameplay (ENG/SPA)
Hello, gamers! After having played it for quite some time, today I bring you one of my favorite new school Survival Horror games and it is nothing more and nothing less than Outlast.
¡Hola, gamers! Después de hace bastante tiempo de haberlo jugado, hoy les traigo uno de mis juegos preferidos de Survival Horror de nueva escuela, y se trata de nada más y nada menos que Outlast.
And that's how we started, people! Entering Mt. Masive, knowing all that awaits poor Miles makes you want to turn back but otherwise there would be no game. I was quite nervous as no matter how many times I play this game, I always get scared the same way or rather, I'm constantly on edge.
¡Y así iniciamos gente! Entrando al Monte Masive, sabiendo todo lo que le espera al pobre Miles dan ganas de devolverse pero de lo contrario no habría juego. Estaba bastante nerviosa ya que sin importar cuantas veces juegue este juego, siempre me asusto de la misma forma o mejor dicho, estoy constantemente en tensión.
I couldn't help but take this picture, it's somewhere between beautiful and scary, but my photographer side got the better of me. I had to adapt the controls to how I was most comfortable so I wasn't playing with the original controls.
No pude evitar hacer esta foto, es entre preciosa y aterradora, pero mi lado fotógrafa pudo más. Tuve que adaptar los controles a como me fuese más cómodo, así que no estaba jugando con los controles originales.
Since all the doors to the asylum were closed, we had to sneak in through here.
Como todas las puertas al manicomio estaban cerradas, tuvimos que colarnos por aquí.
As well as climbing up this scaffolding. It's a cocktail of bad ideas, but it still seemed like a very good idea for our friend Miles to sneak into a mental asylum that looks pretty bad.
Además de subirnos por este andamio. Es un cóctel de malas ideas, pero aún así le pareció muy buena idea a nuestro amigo Miles colarse en un asilo mental que tiene muy mala pinta.
I barely got in and a light bulb broke... I don't know why we kept going.
Apenas entré y se rompió un bombillo... no se para que seguimos avanzando.
Here we had our first glimpse of a variant. Good thing we were inside a ventilation duct!
Aquí tuvimos el primer vistazo de un variante ¡Menos mal que estábamos dentro de un ducto de ventilación!
I found a pile of heads and a man impaled alive who told me to run away because the variants had escaped. But what do you think... they wouldn't let me.
Me encontré un montón de cabezas y a un hombre empalado vivo que me dijo que huyera porque los variantes habían escapado. Pero ¿que creen?... no me dejaron.
This good and kind gentleman gave me a ride through the air to the lower floor.
Este buen y amable señor me dio un paseito por los aires hasta el piso inferior.
And a religious madman gave us a mission: Mission my ass! I'M GOING
Y un loco religioso nos encomendó una misión ¡Misión mis polainas! ME LARGO
I was very worried about that guy, so I walked close to the wall, after all, if he was in a wheelchair, he shouldn't be to dangerous.
Yo bien preocupada de ese tipo, caminé pegada a la pared, después de todo si va en silla de ruedas no debería ser de gran peligro.

I finally found the control room access card to unlock the doors and get the hell out of there.
Finalmente encontré la tarjeta de acceso de la sala de control para destrabar las puertas y largarme de ese lugar.
Why didn't I stay home and make pancakes?
¿Por qué no me quedé en mi casa haciendo panqueques?

And we got as far as the control room but of course the maniac priest had to stick his nose where it didn't belong and cut off our power, so now we had to restore it.
Y llegamos hasta la sala de control pero claro, tenía que meter sus narices donde no lo llaman el cura maníaco y nos cortó la luz, así que ahora teníamos que restablecerla.
But our favorite crazy guy paid us a visit. I had to hide until he went to the opposite side to where I was going and I took the opportunity to run away, of course I couldn't take pictures of that part.
Pero nos hizo una visita nuestro loco preferido. Tuve que esconderme hasta que se fue hacia el lado opuesto a donde iba yo y aproveché para salir corriendo, claro que esa parte no pude hacerle fotos.
So the great new news: the generator is in the dingy basement, flooded and with a madman inside.
Así que las geniales noticias nuevas: el generador está en el sótano lúgubre, inundado y con un loco dentro.
The generator was in a room that looked like the main room, it needed two bombs to be activated and also some kind of switch to finally press the generator button, what was the problem? There was a madman with a stick, roaming the area looking for "cute kittens".
El generador estaba en una sala que parecía la sala principal, necesitaba que fuesen activadas dos bombas y además una especie de switch para finalmente pulsar el botón del generador, ¿cuál era el problema? Que había un loco con un palo rondando la zona buscando "lindos gatitos"
And I introduce to you the madman with the stick.
Y les presento el loco con el palo.
I flipped the switch and quickly hid.
Activé el interruptor y me escondí rápidamente.
It was clear that our crazy guy with the stick was back. Sorry I couldn't portray it as it was frantic: I had one more bomb to activate but I ran head on into this guy and given how scared I was and that I was just getting to grips with the controls, he killed me. I tried again and he saw me just as I activated the last bomb so I ran to the generator and activated it (thanks to the genius developers, every hard mission done, the game autosaves) then trying to run away and thanks to the camera being blurry from the hit, I went the wrong way and died again, however it was all done so I just continued on my way.
Estaba claro que nuestro loco del palo estaba de vuelta. Lo siento no pude retratarlo ya que fue frenético: me faltaba activar una bomba más pero me encontré de frente con este sujeto y dado a lo asustada que estaba y que recién me acoplaba a los controles, me mató. Lo intenté de nuevo y me vio justo cuando activé la última bomba, así que corrí al generador y lo activé (gracias a los genios desarrolladores, cada misión difícil hecha, el juego autoguarda) entonces intentando huir y gracias a que la cámara estaba borrosa por el golpe, me equivoqué de camino y morí de nuevo, sin embargo ya estaba todo hecho, así que solo continué con mi camino.
What you see in the back is the generator, as you can see there was already light so I hurried up again.
Lo que ven al fondo es el generador, como ven ya había luz, así que me apresuré a subir nuevamente.
I finally made it to the control room again and to my misfortune, the maniacal priest made an appearance again.
Al fin logré llegar a la sala de control nuevamente y para mi desgracia, el cura maníaco hizo aparición nuevamente.
He injected us with some drug that made us sleep while he ratified that we had to stay to witness many things.
Nos inyectó alguna droga que nos hizo dormir mientras que nos ratificó que teníamos que quedarnos para ser testigos de muchas cosas.
And finally I woke up in some kind of isolation cell of the asylum so I decided to leave the gameplay until there, it was too much of a scare for today.
Y finalmente desperté en una especie de celda de aislamiento del asilo, así que decidí dejar el gameplay hasta ahí, fue mucho susto por hoy.

Outlast es una joya, una obra maestra en todo el sentido de la palabra. Estoy segurísimo de que vas a pasarla increíble y vas a disfrutar este juego tanto como yo lo hice en mi momento.
Hahaha es la pc de mi prima y salvo para trabajar ya no le meto mano XD. Yo lo había jugado ya hace tiempo pero hace muuuuucho y hay partes de las que no me acuerdo y entro en pánico pero lo divertido de este género es precisamente pasarlo mal.

This was one of the most intense games I've played! Whistleblower is also a great expansion!
All in all the DLC is much better, after playing this one I will go on to play Whistleblower.

Outlast was such a good game. I need to play it again at some point. Haven't played it since it was brand new.
I almost didn't play it since that time if I'm not wrong and that's why I remember little about the game itself. Anyway when I go back to Venezuela I will play it again for the youtube channel.

Hahaha I just bought a headset with bass and a very good sound (it's better for survival horror because in this genre the sound is fundamental not to die) This is my favorite saga and believe me I'm enjoying playing it again after a long time.
It was my first time playing such a game where you get to be so defenceless. Enjoyed the story though! My friend also told me to get Evil Within. I'm in for it ig😅.
Oh yes, that's another gem and I also loved the music in the storage room. You'll enjoy it a lot (I liked two better).
I played the demo version of 2. Let’s see, if 1 is good maybe I’ll go for 2.
Este es uno de mis juegos de terror favoritos, realmente tiene una historia bastante interesante y debe decirse que es un juego muy original y pionero del terror en PC. Te recomiendo grabes todo lo interesante con tu cámara ya que con ello puedes conseguir logros. Yo lo pude pedir gratis en una ocasión que lo regalaron en Steam y no lo dude en jugar al igual que su DLC Whistleblower, es un juego muy recomendado ^^
