Photographing Memories (ENG/SPA)
Hello, people of the Internet, how are you today? A few days ago I went out to the old part of the city and decided to take some pictures and I have many memories of the area.
Hola, gente de Internet ¿como están hoy? Hace unos días salí al casco histórico de la ciudad y decidí hacer algunas fotos y es que tengo muchos recuerdos de la zona.
For example, that beautiful building you see there is the Municipal Theatre of Valencia and I have many memories there and when I was little, until I was about ten years old, I did ballet at the school of arts (that mustard-coloured colonial house in the photos) and our recitals took place in the theatre.
Por ejemplo, esa edificación hermosa que ven ahí es el Teatro Municipal de Valencia y tengo muchos recuerdos ahi y es que cuando era pequeña, hasta los diez años aproximadamente hice ballet en la escuela de artes (esa casona colonial color mostaza de las fotos) y nuestros recitales se hacían en el teatro.
Nowadays the ballet school is no longer there, so the art school is now only a theatre school, its name is "Ramón Zapata" and there are in fact open enrolments. The school is located in front of the Plaza Sucre, which is in honour of this hero.
Actualmente ya no está la escuela de ballet, asi que la escuela de arte ahora es solamente escuela de teatro, su nombre es "Ramón Zapata" y de hecho hay inscripciones abiertas. La escuela se encuentra frente a la plaza Sucre, la cual es en honor a este prócer
