Te enseño mis libros de Narnia (SPA/ENG)
¡Hola, gente de internet! Espero que estén bien. Ya varios o al menos los que han visto mis post o les dan seguimiento, sabrán que soy fan de los libros, y es que no hay nada más apacible para mí que sentarme a leer un libro mientras bebo una taza de café.
Hello, internet people! I hope you are well. Several of you, or at least those of you who have seen my posts or follow me, know that I'm a fan of books and there is nothing more peaceful for me than sitting down to read a book while drinking a cup of coffee.
Hace poco les traje mi colección de Harry Potter, en esta ocasión, quiero mostrarles mis libros de Narnia, otra de mis sagas preferidas. ¡Acompáñenme a echarles un vistazo!
I recently brought you my Harry Potter collection, this time, I want to show you my Narnia books, another of my favorite sagas, so come and take a look at them!
La saga completa comprende 7 libros, escritos por C. S. Lewis y de los cuales 3 fueron adaptados a películas, ganando muy buena opinión de la crítica, sobre todo con su primera película.
The complete saga comprises 7 books, written by C. S. Lewis and 3 of which were adapted into movies, earning very good critical acclaim, especially with the first film.
Si te gustan las películas pero nunca has ni siquiera visto los libros o no conoces nada de ellos, es muy probable que no sepas que la primera película de Narnia, realmente corresponde al segundo libro de la saga. El primer libro de Narnia es éste:
If you like the movies but have never even seen the books or don't know anything about them, you probably don't know that the first Narnia movie actually corresponds to the second book of the saga. The first Narnia book is this one:
Una de las cosas que más me gustan de los libros, es que están ilustrados, así que si te falta imaginación, los dibujos te ayudan a ponerte bien en contexto de las situaciones que se narran. En El sobrino del mago se narra la creación de Narnia y el origen de la bruja blanca, el erial del farol y de dónde salió el ya muy conocido armario de la casa del profesor Kirkle.
One of the things I like most about the books is that they are illustrated, so if you lack imagination, the drawings help to put you in context of the situations that are narrated. In The Magician's Nephew, the creation of Narnia and the origin of the White Witch, the bluff wasteland and where the now well-known closet of Professor Kirkle's house came from.

Este es el libro en el que se basaron para la primera película y aunque no es 100% fiel al libro, estuvo muy bien hecha la adaptación (intenté hacerle fotos de cerca a cada libro para que puedan leer la sinopsis de cada uno)
This is the book on which the first movie was based and although it's not 100% faithful to the book, the adaptation was very well done.
Este libro tiene protagonistas diferentes a los Pevencie, y transcurre durante el reinado de los cuatro (recuerden que ellos crecieron dentro de Narnia) imagino que esa es la razón por la cuál omitieron este libro, para ser la secuela de la película y saltaron directamente al cuarto libro, el cual les muestro a continuación.
This book has different protagonists than the Pevencie, and takes place during the reign of the four of them (remember that they grew up inside Narnia). I imagine that is the reason why they omitted this book to be the sequel to the movie and jumped directly to the fourth book, which I show you below.
Este es el cuarto libro concerniente a la segunda película homónima. También me pareció una muy buena adaptación, sin embargo, siento que lo que no estuvo bien trabajado fue la personalidad y el desarrollo de Caspian. En la película no genera la empatia que debería en el espectador y simplemente se teme por él por ser de los buenos y ya está.
This is the fourth book concerning the second movie of the same name. I also thought it was a very good adaptation, however, I feel that what was not well worked was Caspian's personality and development. In the movie he doesn't generate the empathy that he should in the viewer and you simply fear for him because he is one of the good guys and that's it.
Como pueden ver, este fue el libro en el cuál se basaron para hacer la tercera y última película, la cuál, a decir verdad, no mucho me gustó, es decir, como película independiente es muy muy buena, pero para basarse en este libro (uno de mis preferidos) nada que ver. Le cambiaron demasiadas cosas y omitieron mucha otras, es por estas decisiones que el proceso de la reivindicación de Eustace se vio apresurado.
As you can see, this was the book on which they based to make the third and last movie, which, to tell the truth, I didn't like very much, I mean, as an independent movie it's very very good, but to base it on this book (one of my favorites) nothing to do. They changed too many things and omitted many others, it's because of these decisions that the process of Eustace's vindication was rushed.
¿Recuerdan cuando en la última película Aslan dijo que Eustace podría regresar a Narnia? Pues, este libro narra las aventuras de Eustace y su amiga en un viaje de rescate. Este libro me gustó muchísimo y más por la aparición de un nuevo personaje peculiar y también porque Caspian y Aslan van al mundo de Eustace por unos pocos minutos, sin embargo valió mucho la pena ¡fue genial!
Remember in the last movie when Aslan said that Eustace might return to Narnia? Well, this book narrates the adventures of Eustace and his friend on a rescue trip. I liked this book very much and more because of the appearance of a new peculiar character and also because Caspian and Aslan go to Eustace's world for a few minutes, however it was very worth it, it was great!
Y por último, tenemos a esta joya, la última aventura y que tiene un cierre inesperado pero muy bueno, ya que al final todos están felices. Me hubiese gustado mucho poder ver cada libro adaptado a un film, esperemos que más adelante alguien quiera tomar el proyecto.
And finally, we have this jewel, the last adventure, which has an unexpected but very good ending because everyone is happy at the end. I would have loved to see each book adapted into a film, let's hope that someone will take on the project later on.

Me gustaron todos, salvo el último. Me pareció un final de saga horrible. Mis favoritos son el tercero y el quinto.
Eso es porque la saga guarda estrecha relación con la biblia, entonces el final se asemeja al final que para los cristianos tendrá el mundo, y dado a que lo que todos tenemos seguro es la muerte, a mí en lo personal me pareció un final realista y pues todos quedaron juntos y felices y es lo que más me gustó, que todos los personajes de toda la saga coexistieran por fin en un mismo lugar (claro que faltó Susan, pero como no era mi preferida, me dio igual haha) Muchas gracias por tomarte el tiempo de leer y comentar. <3
Uff, yo era adolescente cuando lo leí. Ni se me ocurría pensar en esas cosas. Para mi fue más como si el autor dijera: "bueno, me cansé... al carajo Narnia... que se mueran todos...". Y para colmo en un accidente de tren, ni siquiera en batalla. Quedé muy WTF en ese momento. Gracias por responder.

Graciaaas hermosa. Sin dudas además de las ilustraciones, la manera tan adorable de narrar de C. S. Lewis también me encantan haha, la saga es una obra maravillosa sin dudas.
