Hello friends of hive, I am happy to share with you another adventure in this magical world of sewing, in my life every sewing is a challenge and a story to tell. Today I am going to show you how to make a panty skirt for our girls' school. It is super easy to make and also for the little girls to wear something different at school. So let's take a look at the step by step.
Paso 1: Para hacer este conjunto necesité un metro de tela. Es la hija de una vecina y ella me trajo el modelo para hacerle a la niña el uniforme para el colegio, fue un reto pero lo hice gracias a Dios. Corté las partes según el patrón que ella me trajo. Necesité elástica para la pretina y los botones para poder sostener arriba en la parte de la camisa las tiras que unen la parte de arriba con la falda.
Step 1: To make this outfit I needed one meter of fabric. It is the daughter of a neighbor and she brought me the pattern to make the girl's uniform for school, it was a challenge but I did it thank God. I cut the parts according to the pattern she brought me. I needed elastic for the waistband and the buttons to hold the strips that join the top to the skirt on the top of the shirt.
Paso 2: Procedemos a realizar en la falda las pinzas que darán una mejor vista al uniforme colegial. Luego de ésto coseremos la pretina por la parte de atrás y colocaremos una elástica para que se adhiera a la cintura de la niña.
Step 2: We proceed to make the darts on the skirt that will give a better view to the school uniform. After this we will sew the waistband at the back and place an elastic to adhere to the waist of the girl.
Paso 3: Vamos a coser el bolsillo para nuestro uniforme, tenemos un cuadro al cual le vamos a hacer los dobleces para poder ir a bastearlo en la máquina de coser y luego lo vamos a coser a la parte de arriba en la zona de la camisa.
Step 3: We are going to sew the pocket for our uniform, we have a square to which we are going to make the folds to be able to baste it in the sewing machine and then we are going to sew it to the top in the shirt area.
Paso 4: Procederemos luego a marcar los huecos por donde pasarán los botones. Los cosemos en la máquina para obtener un mejor acabado. Es súper sencillo.
Step 4: We then proceed to mark the holes where the buttons will go through. We sew them on the machine for a better finish. It is super simple.
Paso 5: con una hojilla vamos a abrir los ojales por donde pasarán los botones. Y luego vamos a pasar los botones y vamos a coser ésta parte a la falda que ya Cosimos antes.
Step 5: with a knife we are going to open the buttonholes where the buttons will go through. And then we are going to pass the buttons and we are going to sew this part to the skirt that we sewed before.
Paso 6: Procedemos a coser las tiras que irán de detrás de la falda y subirán por los hombros para pasar por los botones. Cerramos los laterales de la falda para proceder a coser el pantalón debajo de la falda.
Step 6: We proceed to sew the strips that will go from the back of the skirt and go up the shoulders to pass through the buttons. Close the sides of the skirt to proceed to sew the pants under the skirt.
Paso 7: cosemos el pantalón que debe ser más corto que el largo de la falda obviamente. Lo coseremos debajo de la falda y demos un gran acabado. Luego de ésto tomaremos el ruedo tanto de la falda como del pantalón. Y así concluimos con el uniforme del colegio.
Step 7: we sew the pants which should be shorter than the length of the skirt obviously. We will sew it under the skirt and give a great finish. After this we will take the hem of both the skirt and the pants. And that's the end of the school uniform.
