Legionnaire Alvar vs Uriel The Purifier

This is my entry post for the Social Media Challenge organized by splinterlands.

This is the sentences form splinterlands' post. So I want to share this awesome battle with my friends.

Legionnaire Alvar

This is the comparison between Legionnaire Alvar and Uriel The Purifier. Legionnaire Alvar si good against the magic attackers but Uriel The Purifier is famous for his finishing blow. Legionnaire Alvar also have If they fight one on one Uriel The Purifier will surely win. But in the magic battle and that included the monsters that can resurrect Legionnaire Alvar is superior than his rival because nothing can pierce through hsi Armor. Be it physical or magical attacks.

I mainly focus on the attack because of [Noxious Fumes] rule. I need to finish off my opponet. Poison is like a time bomd. It is also like a curse. It will make my monster weaken over time. It consumes the blood of my monsters slowly.

Rule Set:

• Noxious Fumes - All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.
• Melee Mayhem - Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position.
  

Read about Legionnaire Alvar in above paragraph. One of the battle rule is Melee Mayhem but no one choose melee attackers except first position monster. It is because the summoner we choose for. We avoid choosing melee monsters for this battle.

Prismatic Energy

I expected that my opponent will choose magical monsters so I chose Prismatic Energy in second position. Prismatic Energy has [Magic Reflect] ability and this ability is good against magical attacks.

DJINN OSHANNUS

In third position I chose DJINN OSHANNUS because it has [Void] and [Phase] abilities. This is also a good monster against magical attacks. DJINN OSHANNUS is also good against ranged attack because of its high Speed.

RIVER HELLONDALE

RIVER HELLONDALE is good together with Alvar. It also can deal 3 magical damage per turn. Its also has [Inspire] ability addition to [Resurrect] ability. My oppoent also has a monster with [Resurrect] ability but his monster is not as useful as mine.

Gelatinous Cube

EGelatinous Cube will show more potential at level 6 with [Heal] ability but it is still good at level 5. As monsters died his Health increases. It is very good chocie in the rule like Noxious Fumes.

Phantom of the Abyss

Phantom of the Abyss is the monster that has the highest damage in my team. It has [Flying] and [Dodge] abilities. SO it is good in the last position for normal condition. But I still chose it in last position.

Battle History

This is the setup of our team. Two arch rivals are facing each other. He has one melee, two magic and three ranged attackers. His ranged attacks are quite good. I hope to win this battle.

Alvar died one. Tube got +1 Health. My magic attack can pierce through his Armor so there will not be his turn to attack.

Each monster from both team down. I still have Speed advantages. So his monsters will be down soon.

This is the last moment of the battle. As you see three of my monsters remained in the battle field.
