Feral Spirit is from an old era. When I first saw him I thought he is Cheshire Cat but he was not. It is a Alpha/Beta edition monster of splinter land. He battled together with Tyrus Paladium since the beginning of Splinterlands.

AbilityDescirption
SneakTargets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster

Did you know: Unless there is a monster with Taunt on the enemy's team, Sneaking Monsters will always attack the last position

This means Sneak ability can precendence over Opportunity ability.

Following is the my battle replay from youtube. This is my own channel.

Tell us about your lineup? Explain why you put each card in that position and why they are a good fit with the FERAL SPIRIT.

PoistionSummoner/MonstersAbility
SummonerTyrus Paladium+1 Armor
Position 1Chaos KnightShield
Position 2Silvershield PaladinShield
Position 3Feral SpiritSneak
Position 4Silvershield AssassinSneak
Position 5Silvershield KnightInspire, Piercing
Position 6ArmorsmithRepair

Battle rules are Opportunity and Heavy Hitters. Under normal circustances I chose Shieldbearer on my team. But today I want to try different Setup. Due to Opportunity rule they will attack my monster
with lowest Hit Points. I decided to scarifice Fearl Spirit because I can not lower my average Hit Points to 3. I add Armorsmith in last position. After the Feral Spirit it will be targeted after that Chaos Knight will be their target.

I chose Silvershield Knight to increase my monsters melee damage by 1. I used Feral Spirit together with Silvershield Assassin to attack his backline forcefully. Sneak ability can override Opportunity ability so my opponent can not funnel my monster's attacks. I like to attack my enemy monster as I like but I also want my opponent to attack the monsters I want him to attack. I can do this in battle with Opportunity rule.

I used Double Shield Setup in case of my enemy is using Zaku. I chose all monsters with melee attack so his snipe ability will be useless if he used Zaku.

My opponent fortitied his front line but his backline has no defend at all. This is good for me.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes. My strategy works. I am considering to use Feral Spirit in rule like Melee Mayhem or Target Practice or Standard. This would be quite interesting thing.

Do you like the FERAL SPIRIT? Why or why not?

I like Feral Spirit he is the oen of the fastest monster in splinterlands. It only has Sneak ability but it is enough for me to accomplish his duty. He is very well together with Silvershield Assassin, Elven Cutthroat and Stitch Leech. I can do 'attack from backline' tactics with the help of these monsters.

Another reason I like him is he is also in my Gold Foil collection. I love Gold. He is as good as Gold.
