Nowadays almost everyone is very much dependent on mobile phones. If you have to pass your time in some way or the other, you become dependent on your mobile phone. Now even if you have to work, you use your mobile phone. If you go shopping, you have to use your mobile phone. If you have to buy something, order food, you are dependent on your mobile phone. So, overall, your dependency on your mobile phone has become quite high and the new generation is even more dependent on all these things. You will not remember the past. You will see old people watching TV and everyone dying, but now the new generation is dependent on their mobile phones. Phones appear as electronic gadgets nearby if they're not doing anything else. Look, it doesn't even have two ears because the application is designed to make voice calls to keep you engaged.
In my office also, most of the time, whoever gets free, starts scrolling through Instagram and YouTube reels because it is a very good way to kill time and in such a situation you don't even realize the time. And often when people get lazy, apps take advantage of this. I have seen that nowadays there are many options available for food delivery in India and Swiggy is also very popular and Zomato is the most popular. Popular websites often offer great deals, and sometimes you can find products at deeply discounted prices that are significantly cheaper than the original price. Applications take advantage of this and make you addicted to all of them.
Most websites sell subscriptions, which makes you think you've saved money, but instead, you end up shopping more. If you subscribe to Amazon Prime, you get free delivery, but that actually makes you shop more because you know you won't have to pay anything for delivery. This is all a technology, and the subscription model is quite amazing in a way, and big companies are using it in a much better way. Look, earlier they were much more expensive than OTT platforms but now look, if you compare Netflix plans then they are available at very cheap rates, you will get its plan from ₹149 to even ₹1000, they have made plans for everything from mobile phones to smartphones to 4k TVs because they know that mostly the user base uses mobile phones, so they have made very cheap plans due to which their subscription will increase even more.
See, the biggest person is the one who is not lazy and because of this people use all these things. If you are busy in some work throughout the day then you might not have time for all these things and you will go to sleep early in the night also but if you do not do any kind of activity and remain lazy then you will use different types of applications and you will remain engaged in them only. If you use a thing within limits at a time, then it is good, but if you accessorize anything, then it can prove to be dangerous for you.
