Continuation of Ephesus Ancient City and Gladiator Stadium🏰🥊Efes Antik Kenti'nin Devamı ve Gladyatör Stadyumu

Hello everyone, friends. Last week, I mentioned that we had a trip to Ephesus with our friends. Ephesus. Today I would like to show you the places/places outside the ancient city and talk about my own observations.🏰

Herkese merhaba arkadaşlar. Geçtiğimiz haftalarda arkadaşlarımız da Efes gezisi yaptığımızdan bahsetmiştim. Ephesus. Bugün sizlere antik kentin dışında kalan yerleri/ mekanları göstermek ve kendi gözlemlerimden bahsetmek istiyorum. 🏰

While visiting the Ancient City of Ephesus with our friends, I got a little sick. They were also progressing rather slowly because of their children. For this reason, we completed our tour faster with @bilginselcuk and went out of the ancient city. There were a few cafe-style places outside. It would be relaxing to go to one of these and have a drink. After taking a look at all of them, we sat in one of the cafes. First we ordered a water to drink my painkiller. After looking at the prices we were only able to order tea. It was expensive for me to pay 15 TL for a tea. However, after our teas arrived, I normalized this situation a bit. Because there were cookies and beautiful colorful flowers next to the tea. I gave it to my husband because I don't normally like cookies. However, I loved the flowers. They looked so beautiful, their colors and scents were so beautiful. However, it was obvious from the smell that the tea was not fresh. When I tasted it, I thought once again that the tea did not deserve this money.🫖☕

Efes Antik Kenti'ni arkadaşlarımızla gezerken benim biraz rahatsızlanmıştım. Onlar da çocuklarından dolayı epey yavaş ilerliyorlardı. Bu yüzden biz @bilginselcuk ile daha hızlı bir şekilde gezimizi tamamlayıp antik kentin dışına çıktık. Dışarda birkaç kafe tarzı mekanlar vardı. Bunlardan birine girip bir şeyler içmek beni rahatlatacaktı. Hepsine biraz göz gezdirdikten sonra cafenin birisine oturduk. Öncelikle ağrı kesicimi içmek için bir su siparişi verdik. Daha sonra fiyatlara bakınca sadece çay sipariş edebildik. Bir çaya 15 TL vermek bana pahalı geldi. Ancak çaylarımız geldikten sonra bu durumu biraz normalleştirdim. Çünkü çayın yanında kurabiye ve çok güzel renkli çiçekler vardı. Kurabiyeyi normalde de pek sevmediğim için onu eşime verdim. Ancak çiçekleri çok sevdim. Çok hoş gözüküyorlardı, renkleri ve kokuları çok güzeldi. Ancak çayın kokusundan taze olmadığıda belliydi. Tadına da bakınca çayın bu parayı hak etmediğini düşündüm. ☕🫖

After drinking our tea and resting for a while, we wandered around. Everywhere was full of colorful products. Gift ornaments, various decoration products, miniature sculptures of mythological characters, authentic clothes and more... The magnet we bought here was broken, we bought a magnet to stick it on our closet. We left the stands where the products were sold to see a few historical buildings we saw at the entrance. I was very happy to see the colorful phaetons used to show the local/foreign tourists who came to visit this place recently. But when I thought about the work the horses did, I felt sorry for them. I wish they wouldn't put such a load on the horses and carry them.🐎🐴🦄

Çaylarımızı içip biraz dinlendikten sonra etrafı dolaştık. Her yer rengarenk ürünler ile doluydu. Hediyelik süs eşyaları, çeşitli dekorasyon ürünleri, mitolojik karakterlerin minyatür heykelleri, otantik giysiler ve daha bir çok ürün... Daha önce burdan aldığımız magnet kırılmıştı dolabımıza yapıştırmak için bir tane magnet aldık. Girişte gördüğümüz birkaç tarihi yapıyı görmek için eşya satılan standların yanından ayrıldık. Az ilerde burayı ziyaret etmeye gelen yerli/yabancı turistleri gezdirmek için kullanılan renkli faytonları görmek beni çok mutlu etmişti. Ancak atların yaptığı işler aklıma gelince onlar için üzüldüm. Keşke atlara bu kadar yük yükleyip taşıtmasalar. 🐎🐴🦄

Afterwards, we went up a long slope and went to the structures we saw at the entrance. There was a lot of interesting work. There were information boards right in front of this building, which I looked like to the entrance door of a place when I first saw it. After reading the information board with interest, we learned that this is a stadium that hosts gladiator fights. While watching these structures, scenes from the gladiator movie I watched came to my mind.🎥🥊

Daha sonra uzunca bir yokuş çıkıp girişte gördüğümüz yapıların yanına gittik. Oldukça ilginç eserler vardı. İlk gördüğümde bir yerin giriş kapısına benzettiğim bu yapının az ilerisinde bilgi panoları vardı. Merakla bilgi panosunu okuduktan sonra bu alanın gladyatör dövüşlerine ev sahipliği yapmış bir stadyum olduğunu öğrendik. Bu yapıları izlerken izlediğim gladyatör filminden sahneler aklıma geldi.🎥🥊
