Golcuk Lake Trip🏞️Gölcük Gölü Gezisi

Hello everyone. Before coming to my hometown in the past months, my wife and I had made a few nice trips in our spare time. Today I want to tell you about one of our trips and share some photos I took. This is Gölcük District of Ödemiş district. I think it is a place that everyone living in İzmir should see with its nature, clean air and scenery.

Herkese merhaba. Geçtiğimiz aylarda yani memleketime gelmeden önce eşimle boş zamanlarımızda birkaç güzel gezi yapmıştık. Bugün sizlere yaptığımız gezilerden birini anlatmak ve çektiğim bazı fotoğrafları paylaşmak istiyorum. Burası Ödemiş ilçesine bağlı Gölcük Mahallesi. Doğasıyla, temiz havasıyla ve manzaralarıyla İzmir'de yaşayan herkesin görmesi gereken bir yer olduğunu düşünüyorum.

I think Gölcük Lake, which gives the neighborhood its name, makes it a center of attraction. Because there are many businesses such as restaurants and cafes around the rose. We had come here once before and we liked this place so much, we invited our friends to visit this place. We set off a little early due to our work availability. We saw snowfall on some high mountains we saw on the way. Honestly, these scenes were comforting to me at that time. At that time, when I saw the snow falling on the mountains, I was more hopeful than winter. Unfortunately, we did not have a winter season as I had hoped.❄️

Burayı cazibe merkezi yapan şey ise mahalleye ismini veren Gölcük Gölü olduğunu tahmin ediyorum. Çünkü gülün etrafında restaurant ve cafe gibi birçok işletme var. Buraya daha önce bir kez daha gelmiştik ve çok beğendiğimiz için bu ziyaretimize arkadaşlarımızıda davet etmiştik. İşlerimizin uygunluk durumuna göre biraz erken vakitte yola çıkmıştık. Yolda gördüğümüz bazı yüksek dağlarda yağmış karlar görmüştük. Açıkçası bu manzaralar o zamanlar içime rahatlatıyordu. O zamanlar dağlarda yağan kar gördüğümde kış ayından daha umutluydum. Maalesef ki umduğum gibi bir kış mevsimi geçiremedik.❄️

I offered the cat tea, but she refused, I think she got sleepy. Because he opened his mouth wide and yawned, and I was sleepy too.😹 I understood better why even the king of the jungle, lions, are called cats. 🦁😼🐱

Kediye çay ikram ettim ancak kabul etmedi sanırım uykusu vardı. Çünkü ağzını kocaman açarak esnedi benimde uykumu getirdi.😹 Koskoca ormanların kralı aslanlara bile neden kedigiller dendiğini daha iyi anlamış oldum. 🦁😼🐱

When we came to Gölcük, everywhere was covered with fog. We quickly wandered around the lake, as we expected to see beautiful foggy views on the lake. Indeed, we encountered magnificent views. The view of the lake was greatly obstructed as fog covered the whole area. Before, it was difficult to see the opposite side of the lake with the naked eye. However, we were able to see the other side clearly because we wore sunglasses. As the sun's rays increased their effect, the fog began to dissipate. It was a pleasure for us to witness the fog scenery that was still beautiful enough. 🌺

Gölcük'e geldiğimizde her taraf sisle kaplıydı. Gölün üzerinde de sisli güzel manzaralar göreceğimizi tahmin ettiğimiz için hızlıca gölün etrafına gittik. Gerçekten de muhteşem manzaralar ile karşılaşmıştık. Sisin her yeri sarması ile gölün üzerinde görüş açısı çoğunlukla kapanmıştı. Daha erken saatlerde çıplak gözle gölün karşısına görmek zordu. Ancak güneş gözlüğü takarak karşı tarafta bir netlik görebilmiştik. Ancak güneş ışınlarının etkisini artırmasıyla sisler dağılıyordu. Yinede bize yetecek kadar güzel sis manzarasına şahitlik etmek mutluluk vericiydi. 🌺

After wandering around for a while, we sat at a nearby cafe. The weather was a bit cold but we still wanted to sit outside and watch the view. After choosing a table with a lake view, we ordered our teas. The owner was also a smiling and friendly person. Fog was falling on Gölcük Lake every morning during the winter months and people came here just to watch this view. 🌫️People want to walk through these fogs, I wish we could walk on water in the fog. 🥲🚶🚶‍♀️🌫️As the sun warmed up, the fog began to dissipate and the atmosphere began to brighten. We entered the cafe because we were very cold. There was a huge stove in the middle of the coffee house, and its heat almost warmed the entire cafe. The owner said that such stoves are suitable for large logs, so the stove burns for a long time without losing its heat.🔥

Etrafı biraz gezdikten sonra yakın bir cafe oturduk. Hava biraz soğuktu ancak yinede manzarayı izlemek için dışarda oturmak istedik. Göl manzaralı bir masa seçtikten sonra çaylarımızı sipariş ettik. İşletme sahibi de güler yüzlü ve muhabbet etmeyi seven biriydi. Kış aylarında her sabah Gölcük Gölüne sis çöküyormuş ve insanlar sadece bu manzarayı izlemek için bile buraya geliyorlarmış. 🌫️ İnsan bu sislerin arasında yürümek istiyor keşke suyun üstünde sislerin arasında yürüyebilme kabiliyetimiz olsaydı. 🥲🚶🚶‍♀️🌫️ Güneş ortalığı ısıttıkça sisler kaybolmaya ve ortam aydınlanmaya başladı. Biz de epey üşüdüğümüz için kafenin içine girdik. Cafenin tam ortasında kocaman bir soba vardı ve sıcaklığı neredeyse tüm kafeyi ısıtıyordu. İşletme sahibi bu tarz sobaların büyük kütükler için uygun olduğunu ve sobanın bu şekilde ısısını kaybetmeden uzun süre yandığını söylemişti. 🔥

We left the cafe after warming up a bit by chatting at the stove. After taking a few more photos of Gölcük and the lake, we set off. It was a beautiful and fun day.🌸🌫️

Sohbet eşliğinde sobanın başına biraz ısındıktan sonra kafeden ayrıldık. Gölcük'ün ve gölün birkaç fotoğraf daha çektikten sonra yola koyulduk. Güzel ve eğlenceli bir gündü. 🌸🌫️
