Today, I will be sharing with you the cutting and sewing process of a ball gown I made for a little girl of about 9years, which was done in few hours, pls, read through for the step by step cutting and sewing process

First before cutting, I drafted out the front pattern on a brown paper, which was later placed on the fabric to cut out same shape, the front was placed on another folded fabric to cut out the back bodice on the fabric with 1½" zipper allowance, also the main fabric I cut out was used to cut the lining to be used and everything were sewn together.

The lower part was made with satin material and I added hard net to it to make it full and beautiful.

I cut out the desired length with ×3 of the waist measurement and it was gathered with 180° flare for the hard net to be pleated on.

The upper and lower bodice were sewn together and I made a puff sleeve with bow at the front of the dress and finally I have this.
