Hello creative friends

It's a beautiful weekend and I hope you all are doing great at your respective places, it's weekend and I have a lot of work to do but before then, I have to quickly share with you how I turned my scrap fabric into a small and useful card wallet.

Since I have decided to reduce those scrap fabrics in my bag by giving them a new life, I have been making beautiful and useful items from it instead of disposing them, and I love what I have been making so far, this is another creative idea you can make from those scrap fabric you thought are no longer useful. As small as this project is, it can be used to keep your cards and coins which will be secured with the zipper sewn to it for easy access when kept in your hand bag.

From my scrap fabric bag, I brought out 3 different fabric and cut out 2 x 8" each

The 3 pieces were taken to my sewing machine and sewn together

It was then used to cut out a black lining

I placed a zipper on the main fabric with the lining and it was sewn together

It was turned to the right side and I tp stitched on the zipper, I folded the fabric ahead of the zipper by 1" on the wrong side and it was held together

Fo the handle, I measured and cut out a small piece from one of the scrap fabric measuring 3 x 4" it was folded and sewn together on both sides

The handle was folded in two and placed on one side of the zipper and was sewn together on both sides with the zipper open to the middle

The excess zipper was trimmed off and it was turned to the right side through the zipper opening

This is the final outcome with my cards in it

I hope you like the beautiful and colorful outcome of the craft idea I made from scrap fabric. This small wallet can be use to keep your cards, coins and other items you desired to keep in it.
