Hello everyone

I bring you all greetings on this beautiful day in this great community, I wish you all a great and stess free day with greater accomplishments in whatever you lay your hands on. Everyday seems to be a creative day for me as I have been making different items using fabric and I must say it's a good thing as I have improved so well in my sewing skills as they say, consistency brings perfection. Today, I will be sharing with you how I creatively designed a double pocket card wallet from a circle shape using fabric.

As you all know that when i comes to fabrics, I love to try out something new to see what the outcome will look like before sharing and so far, i have been making progress with those beautiful projects especially when using scrap fabrics to create beautiful items. This is one of my recent projects and I'm sure you will like it for the safe keeping of your cards and secured with a pressing button.

Let's get started on how I made this simple card wallet

First thing I did was to measured and cut out a circle shape from one of the fabric I have with the diameter of 12" depending on how big I want it to be.

I placed the circle shape on a lining on the right side and it was sewn together on my sewing machine leaving a small opening for it to be turned to the right side

The excess was trimmed off and it was turned to the right side through the opening then it was neatly ironed and top stitched round

The circle was folded in two, from the top, I marked 2.5" and sew it on a straight line

The sewn part was opened to the middle and was neatly ironed

I folded it in two backwards and I have this

I was taken to the sewing machine and I sew on both sides downward

The top was folded down to locate where to fix the button to secure the items in it which I did with my hand needle and thread

Finally, i have some cards in it and it was secured with the press button.

I hope you like this simple card wallet made from a circle shape using fabric

Thanks so much your time support comment and encouragement. Until my next post, do have a great day.
