Hello everyone

A beautiful and lovely morning to you all out there, I hope you all are doing great, it my pleasure to be part of this WIP challenge this week, for over a month now, I've been trying to be part of this but my health and other challenges took me off balance to work on my intended project, last week I thought to myself that the stated time for the challenge is almost over and it will not be fair for me not to be part of it, actually, I was trying to work on my proposed project but in search of materials to use to complete those projects in my bag where I usually keep my left over fabric, I came across this fabric that I bought long time ago for a wedding at about 2years ago, that was a very long time.....

I changed my mind and decided to work on it, instead of looking for materials for my proposed project, I started looking for materials to complete this newly found abandoned project and luckily enough for me, I found all the materials needed to complete this.

When I got the Ankara fabric about 2years ago for a wedding, I was not around to attend the wedding so I never made any attempt to sew it immediately but after few months, I made a pencil skirt from the fabric which I was only left with the blouse, since then, I set it aside, then I could remember, after about a year, I made an off shoulder upper bodice and that was all, until last week when I came across it in my bag.

To complete this project, I decided to make a pleated peplum flare to the upper bodice I abandoned to make a complete blouse. Since I have made something like this before, it wasn't that difficult for me to make.

I cut out a big circle flare x2 of my waist circumference which was turned with lining and pleated to the waistline of the upper bodice I made to complete the blouse, and the final step was the sleeves which I also made a normal off shoulder straight sleeves to the blouse, as simple as this and my blouse is ready.

After the whole work had been completed, I was surprised and said to myself that if I was so confidence of myself, I would have done this for a very long time but when I abandoned this project, I was so scared to make errors since its a group fabric we got for a wedding but I'm happy now with the beautiful outcome, coz now, I am better and avoid major errors.

Thanks so much @crosheille, if not for the WIP challenge, I don't think I would have remembered I abandoned this somewhere, I'm so grateful to take part in this week's challenge, still working on the project I intended working on earlier, I hope to finish it before the end of this week.
