So far I have analyzed 2 of my resources, both ores. I plan to make a mining colony so I am very happy with how this has turned out.

For the longest time, I thought that the GOOD MORNING was a shotgun sidearm, not an incendiary pistol. I have never been a fan of sawed-off shotguns in anything as they are typically unreliable, however after examining the GOOD MORNING more thoroughly it seems like an incendiary revolver, and I am now much more interested in it. I will definitely be taking some of these along with me to my colonies.

Interesting news. i was unaware of the update and new game play options. i will have to check that out.
At this point i don't really have an opinion regarding the best weapon since i haven't used any yet.
Update: i checked out my Colonization Pass and i don't have any new options:
Perhaps, the new option is only for the original Away Teams participants?
Unfortunately it seems like the new feature is only available for those who were allowed into the Away Teams Challenge a few weeks ago.
There will most likely be another snapshot when more features are released, and newer players will be able to participate then.

Oh, I like that Good Morning. 2 accuracy might hurt a little though.
Of the 3 weapons I have, Firetalker, Rekatron SD, and Explanator, I would vote my favorite as the SD. Medium range, plasma with 16 accuracy. A little weaker, but gets the job done I hope
My favorite "Cheap" weapon as well. I think that it will be more reliable than the shotgun but we shall see. Definitely use some Autoguided Ammo with it and buff the accuracy.
