(ENG-ESP) Piku - An Attention Seeker / Piku: un buscador de atención

Hello Hivers, good evening and welcome to my blog @birjudanak once again. It has been a wonderful day and just checking photos on my old phone where I found some beautiful clicks of Piku which is the pet of my cousin with whom I spent a lot of time and did fun.

I wanted to make a blog on him before but did not get much time as also need to take information about it as I am not aware as well as seen first time him, but he is very loving and adorable who touch my heart, so I would like to share some things about with my information.

In November I visited my cousin home because of the Diwali festival, and it was after a long time because of covid not being able to visit and also not being able to see him with my naked eyes as only seen in photos and video. I am very eager to meet him as l love pets, and it's a foreign bird, so always special for us.

En noviembre visité la casa de mi primo debido al festival de Diwali, y fue después de mucho tiempo porque covid no pudo visitarlo y tampoco pude verlo con mis ojos desnudos como solo se ve en fotos y videos. Tengo muchas ganas de conocerlo, ya que me encantan las mascotas, y es un pájaro extranjero, por lo que siempre es especial para nosotros.

My sister-in-law treats him like her son and Piku also can see his mother in her, so it's a great attachment between them, and it's a great thing. It makes their life more joyful because everyone likes the love which they're getting. Piku becomes very excited and active as he sees my sister-in-law.

Mi cuñada lo trata como a su hijo y Piku también puede ver a su madre en ella, así que es un gran vínculo entre ellos, y es algo grandioso. Hace su vida más alegre porque a todos les gusta el amor que están recibiendo. Piku se emociona y se activa al ver a mi cuñada.

I was new to him for the first day, so he's afraid of me, which is very common in pets. I tried to make good vibes with him because I would like to play with him, and he is so cute. Likewise, I tried to feed him the way my sister-in-law did, but he did not eat as he keeps shouting at me.

Yo era nuevo para él el primer día, así que me tiene miedo, lo cual es muy común en las mascotas. Traté de hacer buenas vibraciones con él porque me gustaría jugar con él, y es tan lindo. Asimismo, traté de darle de comer como lo hacía mi cuñada, pero no comió porque me sigue gritando.

I know it will take time, so I keep trying to feed him in my hand but still, he is afraid and tried to bite me, although it's not painful, so it's good and last as he felt comfortable, he ate so happy for it. I kept seating beside his cage to play with him as with more communication, more understanding develop.

Yo era nuevo para él el primer día, así que me tiene miedo, lo cual es muy común en las mascotas. Traté de hacer buenas vibraciones con él porque me gustaría jugar con él, y es tan lindo. Asimismo, traté de darle de comer como lo hacía mi cuñada, pero no comió porque me sigue gritando.

His cage is big, so we can change things from below as well as we can put his hand inside too for feed because he does not like to feed on a bowl inside the cage but only likes to eat from the hand of my sister-in-law. He is a very intelligent and smart bird as keep watching everything around him.

Su jaula es grande, así que podemos cambiar las cosas desde abajo y también podemos meter su mano adentro para alimentarse porque a él no le gusta alimentarse de un cuenco dentro de la jaula sino que solo le gusta comer de la mano de mi hermana en -ley. He does everything on his time as he also required massage too because he is very active to play and tired, so he also gives the sign for massage as he feels so comfortable for it too. He takes his food around 11 AM as well as also when the family seat to take lunch because he also likes to seat beside the family to eat.

His favorite item is Papdi which is a local Gujarati item that is quite surprising. He loves it a lot. When we started our snack in the morning, he saw a packet of papdi and started to shout till not given to him, and he ate it and enjoy it a lot.

In the afternoon, my sister-in-law takes him to her room, where Piku do rest for two hours with a nap. Piku is very caring and understandable that if he wakes up early and if my sister-in-law sleeping, then he does not make a shout of any kind or make noise until she wakes up.

Por la tarde, mi cuñada lo lleva a su habitación, donde Piku sí descansa dos horas con una siesta. Piku es muy cariñoso y comprensible que si se despierta temprano y si mi cuñada duerme, entonces no hace un grito de ningún tipo ni hace ruido hasta que ella se despierta.

My sister-in-law also love pets, and thus she feed other pets too like cat, squirrel, fish, pigeon but piku don't like it, so he shouts a lot that time. Piku cage is just beside the window, so when a squirrel comes to take his good, Piku try his best to run the squirrel from there.

A mi cuñada también le encantan las mascotas, por lo que también alimenta a otras mascotas como gatos, ardillas, peces, palomas, pero a piku no le gusta, así que grita mucho esa vez. La jaula de Piku está justo al lado de la ventana, por lo que cuando una ardilla viene a tomar su bien, Piku hace todo lo posible para ejecutar a la ardilla desde allí.

My sister-in-law daily take him out from the cage and let him fly in the room as can't allow it outside as it may damage himself so in room Piku do his best to fly as, after two-three rounds, he lands on his cage and then keeps playing with my sister-in-law.

I was there too and first, my sister-in-law took him in her hand where he felt comfortable, so I was able to take many clicks of him, and then she put him on my finger where he likes it and not moving, so I am glad that he felt comfortable with me too outside the cage.

On the next day, I was played a lot of time with him as he enjoyed my company where I keep taking his picture as much as I can because he is so cute. I like its color and spot on the neck, which looks so cute and beautiful.

Al día siguiente, jugué mucho tiempo con él mientras disfrutaba de mi compañía, donde sigo tomando su foto tanto como puedo porque es muy lindo. Me gusta su color y su mancha en el cuello, que se ve tan lindo y hermoso.

I stayed there only for two days, but it's become great attachments with him, and he also likes my company, which is an amazing thing for me. It's a great time for me to spend time with her. I only son time with cat or dog as pet or sometimes fish, but it's my first time with any birds, so it's a special feeling. I have captured all photos of my mobile camera and hope you guys like it.

Me quedé allí solo dos días, pero se ha convertido en un gran vínculo con él, y también le gusta mi compañía, lo cual es algo increíble para mí. Es un gran momento para pasar tiempo con ella. Information/ Información

Piku is an Australian cockatiel parrot that is very famous in the Australian region and thus given that name. We all know Australia beautiful country where lots of different types of birds with different colors we get to see and see in Australian tourism videos too.

Piku es un loro cacatúa australiano que es muy famoso en la región australiana y por eso recibe ese nombre. Todos conocemos el hermoso país de Australia, donde también podemos ver muchos tipos diferentes de aves con diferentes colores en los videos de turismo australiano.

When I searched I got to know that name cockatiel given because of its long pointed tail which I have seen, so it's also one thing which got to know about it. What I noticed is that when he becomes tired his neck becomes small and once he refreshes or takes a rest he becomes fluffy neck which indicates he is charged again.

Cuando busqué llegué a conocer el nombre que le dieron a la cacatúa debido a su cola larga y puntiaguda que he visto, por lo que también es una cosa que llegué a saber al respecto. Lo que noté es que cuando se cansa, su cuello se vuelve pequeño y una vez que se refresca o descansa, se vuelve esponjoso, lo que indica que está cargado nuevamente.
