Kingdom.so Build Your Own Kingdom

If you're like me then you've always dreamed of building your own kingdoms. Now with crypto, the blockchain and tokennomics it's now easier than ever to start your own kingdom in this new game called Kingdom.so

👑 How To Get Started

Currently the game is in a alpha release but still playable to figure out how it all works and help in the games development by testing and offer up feedback via their discord channel. To join simply go to Kingdom.so at create your character. For myself I used my gmail login but there are other options.

Once completed you will be on your first tile that might look something like this...

In this I moved my character to where you currently see it which housed a crop. That crop being a tomato which I then collected. In the top right you will also notice a few icons.

The first being your inventory which houses your Items, Objects and recipes. At the moment mine currently holds the tomato I harvested.

You'll also notice the heart is now 29/30 and that's because I performed an action which was harvesting the tomato.

The last icon is the amount of gold I have on the account.

This tomato can be broken down into seed which I can then use to plant (currently costing a total of three energy points) to grow more crops. You can regain energy by eating foods.

Moving Around The game

You'll notice paths on the tile. By moving your character to the last path wood tile you will be taken to a new land tile. These tiles are owned by others and trying to do some actions will be prevented as you can't harvest on another persona tile. You can of course buy your own tile with gold which can be obtained with ETH or Polygon(MATIC) which the game currently runs on.

If you're currently a free to play player your main goal at the start of it all will be exploring and picking up random loot along the way that are on free tiles.

Their Kingdom Tiles OpenSea account can be located here filled with tiles to pick up for some really great prices. From what I've been reading so far a Forest tile with lots of trees to harvest seems like a good play as wood will be a cornerstone to crafting and building up your lands.

More Details

The general idea of the game is to be somewhat like that of other games you've played such as Stardew Valley and the most recent popular crypto game Sunflower. With harvesting, farming and trading aspects built into it. Let me remind you it's currently in Alpha so I would expect many other new crafting and other features to be added into the game once fully released.

So far the development looks like so far a smooth transition from tile to tile. The ability for free p2e type but limited based on only harvesting wild swaps and not being able to touch others lands.

An interesting aspect of the game rolling forward seems to be some type of attack aspect so PvP. (Personally I've never been a big fan of PvP In these types of crypto games the demand for it is always extremely low and PvE aspects are more sought after at current demands.

Overall the game looks promising so far in it's Alpha stage. I'm excited to see it release into beta here soon I hope and what new aspects and mechanics are added to the game itself. Later this week I'll post a more in depth startup so you don't make the same mistakes I'm about to make over the next few days of playing the game.
