The Hive Goals Edition and News

Sunday is a bit of my rest day. While I still work I work at a much lower capacity as a way to recharge for the week to come. It also gives me the chance to reflect back on the pervious week to see what was working, what went well, what didn't go well and to make future plans based on that information.

What's New At Hive

For the most part still no big news releases across the board. Just some small updates on applications but nothing in particular that is really news worth. Lots of Beta and Alpha going on right now and since we are just about to roll into Q2 I have a feeling we are going to start seeing many of these projects launch out into the main stream.

For now it's constant stacking, investing and supporting projects. That's also another cool thing about hive. In a way your staked Hive is almost like being a VC yourself allowing you to either use it as votes to support projects and people or to delegate it to support a project.

Since there's not much going on that front let's jump into some goals.

Goals

Hive

Goal: 100,000 Current: 90,567.659 Needed Daily To Hit Goal: 32.86

For the most part this goal should be easy to hit. I could most likely hit it right now selling off a bunch of assets but that's something I really don't want to do. Instead we will simply be ramping up production including still preparing a lot of the backend for when LeoFinance UI gets updated and implements some type of referral system.

Earning wise we are still a bit on the low end. Most likely around $25 a day which is for sure better but still a far cry from the $100 daily I want to achieve here on hive. In a strong way I feel 100k Hive is going to be far too low so after hitting 100k hive I want to push even more aggressively towards 250k hive and also aggressively build the HBD fund. Doing both of these will build the foundations to not only onboard people to hive and track them with votes etc but it will also allow me to support projects and also fund some of my own which I'm eager for.

As you can see I'm almost powering up as much hive as I am earning it on most days. This is mainly from outside projects I've been working on building and could be as simple as some extra wax recourses which convert into hive.

I also have two major DeFi blocks that will become unlocked in two months. My hopes where that long lock period would earn me a decent sized APR which is as at nearly 30% but also that we would be hitting a bull market. While others are mainly locked in for a much longer period of time it felt like a possible good move. Mainly those will be funneled into hive projects such as Splinterlands I believe. I'll cover that a bit later or I might very well make a separate post about it via my @spt.bitcoinflood account which I post splinterlands content to only.

LEO

Goal: 150,000 Current: Without delegation: 84,276 With delegation: 119,276

I'm not far off of this goal but it's not a primary focus for me until after I first hit my hive goal. At that point I can simply delegate the hive out in a progressive way to both support LEO but also earn a decent amount of LEO tokens as well. For the most part a mass delegation would be a little over 300 LEO earned per day and with curation and author rewards I think I would be near 500 LEO per day. Which might sound like a lot but again is only about $25 a day in earnings and still a far cry from that $100 a day goal. Of course that will change as the markets change. However if LEO ever went back to $0.20 again that would in fact hit my $100 a day goal so you can see how much market prices really swing and affect earnings at these higher levels.

Overall I'm mainly waiting for three cores from LEO before I take major action again. Those being...

  1. The release of the new UI
  2. The ad buy back to be activated (hopefully all the old earnings will be spread out over 12 months buy back and not one big lump sum)
  3. Some type of referral program

CTP

Goal: 100,000 Current: 27,533 Needed Per Day: 252.49

I added this one to my list the other weekly mainly because of the release of CTPX of which I've won over 7,000 CTP tokens already. On top of that earnings from ListNerds of which I earn around 15 CTP tokens a day and most likely could increase that if I spent a little more time there means I should be hitting my goal very quickly. Also almost forgot also CTPM which is the miner token for it should also yield me some daily results.

To be fair 100k of this token should come fast and easy and really my main goal will be more around to 500k - 1 million mark.

Splinterlands

Goals:
1 Million SPS
1.4 Million DEC-B (might change now with recent updates from team)
Maxed Chaos Deck

I really thought I would have a max chaos deck by now but it still eludes me for some reason. I thought 2k packs would have been enough but even at those rates with how many cards are needed you kind of need around 3,500-4,000 packs in total to max out a deck with some left over cards or buy from the market. This is something I really want to focus on next month and for sure hit.

Outside of that SPS is still a focal area as well for me and with prices around $0.03 I really need to start buying aggressively again instead of trying to make it all from in game. In game nets me it seems to be roughly 500 SPS daily or about $15 daily. However I also earn GLX, GLGT and Vouchers on top of that which I'll start moving around a bit here soon in order to faster stack the SPS.

The DEC-B is mainly to prep me for land of which I have about 300,000 right now. Rental income brings me around 5,000 DEC a day and changing that to DEC-B means 20% more or 6,000 daily which doesn't get me all that close to my goal so it will have to come from outside sources.

However due to recent updates from the team and the Splinterlands land whitepaper I may change this. While I'll survey all of my plots for my keep I have a feeling I'll be letting a few of those go as I don't want to manage ALL of that land myself in terms of fees collected etc and would rather have others involved in it. The way keeps and castles are going to work sound pretty awesome in terms of passive revenue generated and the entire land phase sounds seriously MASSIVE in terms of the amount of capital it should bring into the game. I'm starting to feel like the sub $200 price per land plot right now is undervalued big time again.

Overall Splinterlands in a monster of a project and something I'll have to keep after more.

I hope this goals report and updates help motivate you to start building some action of your own in the Hive ecosystem. There's really nothing else like it in terms of building revenue and being rewarded for the content you produce. It's a massive blockchain with so much more coming to it. Be active every day and start building those stacks.

In many cases, I suffer from a kind of psychological and mental exhaustion, and I do random transactions, as a result of which I lose a lot of money because of haste and because of wrong ideas, but when you read an article like this that makes you rebuild what you destroyed, so your article benefited me and guided me and motivated me to return to the site You invested a good amount of money in it, so thank you.
