What's New With Hive This Week March 9th

avatar

Today I want to expand on this series a bit. As long as there's enough going on I wont be doing my own goals like I used to do in the past. The primary focus of this post is to keep everyone updated about the things going on the hive blockchain in particular the applications that run on it. I'm a big supporter of saying that applications provide use cases which is great for onboarding new active users and for the overall health of the entire ecosystem.

VIBES

Right now there is a big push to get music content creators here on the hive blockchain. This is being done by social media marketing and to get people to write about their music creations. I believe this is mainly headed by @lordbutterfly so head on over there and see the most recent posts in order to get the full details on how to take part.

Even if you don't create music yourself this is a great way to the hive blockchain by spreading even more awareness by sharing, liking and commenting others tweets and other social media content to give these items much further reach to more people.

The Gaming Sector

The gaming sector is looking better here on the hive blockchain. It feels like many of the projects that kind of packed up a bit during the bear market and only did light updates are now starting to become a lot more active and build again.

Arcade Colony

It looks like Arcade colony has hit more delays sadly. What was suppose to be released two weeks ago looks like it might again be pushed off another week. This is one area I wish this team would get better at and that's not constantly announcing things, building a bunch of hype and then constantly missing deadlines by not days but WEEKS! It's a very bad rep to have and legit is a killer of your product.

Splinterlands

We have been seeing a steady rise in value across all of Splinterlands. I wrote up a bit of a detailed post on my Splinterlands dedicated account here The Difference Between Silver and Gold which highlights how the recent changes have affected me so that people can see both sides of the argument.

These changes seem to be having a good affect on the game overall though. We are finally starting to see the price of SPS climb a bit and hold those levels. While there's still a very far amount to go we are seeing people become a bit more active with the wanting on products and using resources in the game which will overall drive the price up.

Genesis League Spots

I'm going to be real with you all. I didn't even realize that this was a playable game yet and I feel like a lot of people don't It for sure seems to be a bit on the lower end of hype but there is some potential here for the game. Right now you can pick up some packs or rare, gold foil cards off the market for a few bucks. To me that seems like a low cost investment right now for the potential later on down the road or just if you want some good cards to play with.

Holozing

The game is still in the development stages and from what I know it's expected for a summer 2024 release. Right now many people are simply stacking tokens and earning some decent APR however that hype seems to be starting to wear off a bit. That means it could now be a great time to start stacking before the games release as it's a little bit out of sight out of mind for many at the moment.

TerraCore and This Golem Parts Game

Seem to be doing rather well. They started off as pretty basic projects but they have since expanded by a large amount with updates, items, nfts and other assets in the game that really are starting to bring some depth to them. I see these doing well as we roll into the bull market as long as the teams keep up with them and continue to keep the tokenomics in check. That's mainly because these are very passive style games that don't take a lot of work.

That's about the most I have for updates happening on hive in the last week. Of course if you own a project or know of a project that's had some recent updates that I missed or you want to shout out your currently being built project for me to start taking a look at drop it in the comments below.

Once I get polls ill be able to get fans to vote winners and potentially onboard in more mass

Excellent report. @bitcoinflood

I was not aware of the Arcade Colony. It sounds like something I would have interest in if it ever gets up and going.

Genesis League Sports has been a disappointment. I really thought it would take off, but it is still early in the game. Time will tell.

Vibes is an amazing initiative and is attracting talents. It's a great avenue or channel for those out there to come onchain and share their music.

It's good to read about the games onchain. My first time to hear about Arcade Colony. Hope the project's team will not keep announcing things and then delaying them. That will surely lose the trust of people.
