Sunset in field miniature painting

I'm back again with another miniature painting series . So if you know me , you must know that I have dedicated this year to my art studies and so I try to paint backgrounds and sceneries every week . This week I'm doing a miniature painting of a sunset in a Field and let's get into it.

Materials I used 4×6 cartridge paper sheet I will use this as my canvas , masking tape for taping the edges of my canvas , a fine liner brush and a flat brush , acrylic colors and some water.

The colors I used for this paintings are peach, some orange , yellow , red and black .

I start by dropping yellow peach and red blobs on my canvas and start making a gradient with a flat brush by spreading the color evenly and blending it . Now I added more yellow to the upper middle and blended it more this gives us that sun set sky look . I let it dry little while mixing white and a little yellow color together to make a pale yellow or a warm white shade.

Now in the middle of my canvas I imagine a horizon and to the middle right I put a small dot of this pale yellow paint . Make it round so this is gonna be out Sun here now I let it dry because if you paint over white if it's not dry it will make the picture messy.

Next thing we need to do is add silhouette shadows of a wheat field and so we need black paint and a fine liner brush now I started smudging black paint on the bottom to make some rough grass like patch.
Over this patch I start drawing pointy curvy lines and we add more pointy long leaf like lines from the bottom attached to the curved lines. This will look like a stem with leaves now for the wheat or lavender heads we will use the fine liner brush to do mini dots in a diamond shape here and there . Do this for all the stems .

Now we remove the tape carefully off the edges I recommend doing it slowly and u can also use a hair dryer so the hour off tape loosens up and the page won't rip .
After removing the tape the painting looks flawless with the clean edges .
