Roasted Figs

A very simple sweet recipe- just put the figs in the oven for few minutes and serve them with vegan yogurt and favourite seeds or nuts.

Ingredients:

  • 4 figs
  • a teaspoon of agave syrup
  • 20 g of coconut butter
  • 2 twigs of rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 100 ml of vegan yogurt
  • a teaspoon of sunflower seeds

Preparation:

  1. Prepare a baking tray and cover it with baking paper. Cut the figs in half and place them on the tray.

  2. Drizzle the figs with a teaspoon of agave syrup and a bit of lemon juice and add fresh twigs of rosemary.

  3. Add bits of coconut butter on the top.
  4. Place them in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 15 minutes.

  5. Serve roasted figs with vegan yogurt and sunflower seeds. Decorate it with chicory flowers.

Omg you genius. What a combo. Be nice with some vegan halloumi too. I found a brand at supermarket I buy sometimes. But the rosemary would suit perfectly... Both are such EARTHY edibles imo.
