GO OUT

IMG_20211220_215843.jpg

You literally spent the past 11 months repeatedly saying "I'm an indoor person, I don't go out all the time". I honestly don't know what to say to you. It seems I just need to call my pastor to come and preach the act of "Going Out" to you. This is that time of the year when most of your friends who you haven't been seeing in the neighborhood due to school activities or probably they traveled returns home for the Christmas break.

Go out, hangout with them, recount and relive old times, visit that old friend of yours and stop proclaiming "I'm not a kid anymore." Host a small get-together party or go to the movies. All these activities helps you make the best of your Christmas and New year holiday giving you memories to live on for a long time.

DON'T WAIT FOR THE RICE. GIVE THE RICE

IMG_20211220_215854.jpg

There is something that tends to happen mostly during festive seasons. I can bet that most of you here can attest to it. This time around, stop waiting for that wonderful neighbor of yours to bring Christmas rice to your house as usual. Instead, choose to be the giver of the rice.

This period, make a commitment to show love to everyone around you. Not just to your close friends, but neighbours, beggars, less privileged, homeless and it can also not just be food items too. Money and gift items can also be given. Don't be at the receiving end every time. It won't be a bad idea to change how it's done this year and that change begins with you.

GO FOR YOUR CHURCH CAROL

IMG_20211219_092613.jpg

Do you want to fully soak yourself in that Christmas atmosphere? Then the Carol service is one event you shouldn't miss.

The songs and hymns alone opens your mind to sweet memories and cultivates your mind fully for the festive season. I personally love "Oh come all ye faithful...tada...tada...taaaaada" oh come ye, oh come ye to Bethlehem..."laaa la la la la...!
Endeavour to attend your church Carol to get the full version, well harmonized and arranged.

GIVE OUT A HAMPER FILLED WITH GOODIES

IMG_20211221_092119.jpg

Let it not just be a skeletal looking hamper o. You can search Google for what a hamper contains and get the items there in quality shape.

Think of those amazing individuals that help you to achieve a lot this year 2021? Mentors? Teachers? Friends? The list is endless.

Gift them hampers this festive season. Now, don't bring up that "But I don't have any money" mentality. If you say you don't have, then be ready not to have at all. Start now to make plans. And while trying to execute that, don't try to borrow because you want to impress people.

The truth behind this act is this, when you carry out things like this, they might not reciprocate or tell you immediately that they are grateful but this act alone will open your mind to see possibilities that lies ahead and place you in a position for abundance. No wonder the Bible says in Psalm 104:28b "...when you open your hand, they are filled with good things..."

PLAN TO MAKE 2022 BETTER

1640083749011929835747137696453.jpg

The popular saying "If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail" has a very significant message it passes across.

Asides the fun, get- together and love sharing, Don't ever forget to plan and prepare well for the new year. Start now to make plans for next year. Your preparation should begin now.

2022 is in few weeks time and we have approximately less than 20 days to go. It's time to write down your highs and lows for the year that's almost over. Evaluate yourself using whatever yardstick you choose and try as much as possible to be real and sincere with yourself. You're not impressing anyone here.

Those things you couldn't achieve this year, you can strategize on how to accomplish them next year. Those ones you ruled out, you can surely take them out again.

2022 is definitely going to be amazing for those that are already making plans. I hope you won't be shocked when I tell you that some people have already lived the new year in their minds. They've pictured and envisaged how they want their 2022 to look like and they are doing everything possible to bring it to reality.

What skills do you want to learn? What certifications do you want to have and in what area? What business do you want to start? The best time to plan all those things is NOW.

Finally....

INVOLVE GOD

IMG_20211219_113049.jpg

In whatever you do this festive season, always remember to acknowledge God as the giver of all you have, be it ideas, businesses, food, even the togetherness and the bond you'll be sharing.

While making plans for the new year, do well to involve God in all of your plans and see Him do mighty wonders for you in the new year.

Also, one key thing you should note is this, don't forget to pray without ceasing. Most persons I know don't like prayers and they'll rather choose to watch movies than read the Bible but please, don't wait till DECEMBER 31st 2021 when you and your family go for crossover service in your local church before you start SPEAKING INTO THE NEW YEAR and praying ahead for 2022.

Don't forget, 2022 will only be great and promising for those that prepare in advance for it.

So ladies and gentlemen, I hope with these few points of mine, I've been able to convince you and not to confuse you on how you can fully enjoy your festive season in a grand style.

I wish us all an amazing Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance.

Cheers to an amazing 2022šŸ„‚
