An Afternoon Walk

After the rain stops, life at the garden gets more fun and interesting! Fungi comes to life, everything its covered in beautiful rain drops, little slugs comes out to play, moss take over the stairs and a thosand mosquitos bite the crap out of you!

Just because I live at the Caribbean is very difficult for me to find mushrooms cause is too hot in here. If I wanna see shrooms I have to go to a very humid forest but the weather its been very crazy lately and after basically 1 month of rain, this little rebels popped up in my yard.

Pretty, right? Little bundles of shroomsies joy! They didn't lasted much, tho...

Some of them looked like if something was hungry and started chewing them...

Some were hidding to feel more safe...

Then I saw this baby slug playing in the dirt inside a dead tree branch.

It started to pose for me while I was screaming "Work it, slugy! Show me your best angle!"

And it seems that's its best angle cause it was the only pose it did! What a lazy slug! Shame on you slugy shame on you!

After 1 month of rain, moss started to take over the stairs.... and the driveway... and every stone in my yard... I don't mind it, tho! It looks pretty! I just have to be extra careful when I walk to not end up falling hehehe

And like always this little blue grass flowers are everywhere being visited by bees and for some reason the wild chickens of the neighborhood a.k.a "the evil poultry of hell" like to eat this grass... but they eat all they find... and also destroy all in their path... and threatening them with making 'em soup if they keep destroying all doesn't work at all with 'em! They look at me like saying "Yeah, human! You've been saying that for years and you never cooked us!"
