Health Defined//My cleaning activities for Friday, March 15th, 2024

The sun is shining bright, it's a beautiful friday afternoon.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This is an old adage.

We have to keep our surroundings clean everyday, to avoid having pile up waste, which will make the whole environments messy.

Today is a very beautiful day here, it's sunny, there's no rain unlike yesterday.

Different definitions of health

🌊According to WHO (1948) Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity

To the psychologist, Health is the normal function of mind

To the doctor Health is the normal functioning of the body

To you when you hear about the word health what comes in to your mind?

Word Health Organization definition of health is widely acceptable
Because when someone is physically fit, it does not mean that the person is healthy. Being physically healthy might be ability to carry out day to day activities and being able to manage stress. Although there's no perfect health there might be long incubated disease such as hiv/aids. Someone can be physically fit but not mentally or socially fit.

Mental dimension of health has to do with ability to learn new things, while Social dimension deals with ability to be adaptable to the environment and all hold meaningful conversation.
