Hoy fui a la casa de mi mamá quien se encuentra sufriendo de dolor del nervio ciático, ayer la visité y le llevé algunos analgesicos y desinflamatorios, y hoy ya se sentía un poco mejor. Lo bueno de esta visita, fue que pude disfrutar la belleza de estas flores.

Today I went to my mother's house who is suffering from sciatic nerve pain, yesterday I visited her and give her some analgesics and anti-inflammatories, and today she felt a little better. The good thing about this visit was that I could enjoy the beauty of these flowers.

Se llaman Lirios del Amazonas y lo que la hace tan especial para mi, es que mi mamá tiene con esta planta muchos años, desde antes de casarme, (en agosto voy a cumplir 14 de matrimonio)

They are called Amazon Lilies and what makes it so special for me, is that my mother has been with this plant for many years, since before I got married, (in August I will be 14 of marriage)

Me gustaba mucho su aroma y por supuesto sus flores tan elegantes. Generalmente floreaban en mayo, pero en los últimos años ha floreado en febrero.

I really liked its aroma and of course its elegant flowers. They usually bloomed in May, but in recent years it has flowered in February.

Hoy pude revivir por unos minutos esos días cuando aún vivía con mis padres, al ver que la planta había floreado y sentir el aroma de sus flores.

Today I could relive for a few minutes those days when I was still living with my parents, seeing that the plant had flowered and feeling the scent of its flowers.
