The ancient light

I see the ancient light before me
Pulling me closer to my past

y hardest to forget
I see my childhood fear
I see the light of great memories

When there is light yet darkness exist
Where darkness exist for lack of oil
Where darkness exist for break of glass

Where smoke hurts my eyes

Where windows are kept open for normal breath
The light that follows me to toilet

Oh memories of my grand mother
Her scolding for unclean glass
Her wishes for a better tomorrow
Light that accompanies movement
Yet darkness is so near.

I see the light before me where mosquito leaf are kept on
Yet mosquitoes respect it not
Where night are twice longer than day
