Hoy me puse manos a la obra e hice este pequeño unicornio de tela. Se han vuelto populares, a las niñas les encanta.

Aunque ya he hecho figuras de animales, esta es la primera figura completa de un peluche que hago, pues normalmente solo armo la cabeza de un peluche y lo demás lo complemento de manera distinta.

Today I got down to work and made this little unicorn out of fabric. They have become popular, the girls love them.

Although I've made animal figures before, this is the first complete stuffed animal figure I've made, as I usually only assemble the head of a stuffed animal and the rest I complement it in a different way.

🍭 Materiales que utilicé:

• Tela suave color blanca, rosa y amarilla.

• Piedras de colores, como las que se utilizan para las pulseras.

• Material de relleno para peluches, como el algodón.

• Papel, Tijeras.

• Hilos color blanco y negro. Y agujas.

🍭 Materials I used:

• Soft fabric white, pink and yellow color.

• Colored stones, such as those used for bracelets.

• Stuffing material for stuffed animals, such as cotton.

• Paper, scissors.

• Black and white threads. And needles.

Siempre que voy a hacer alguna figura de tela me gusta utilizar moldes de papel. Los recorto de la hoja y luego los coloco sobre la tela.

Whenever I am going to make a fabric figure I always like to use paper templates. I cut them out of the sheet and then place them on the fabric.

Luego de marcar el molde en la tela, saco su forma dejando una diferencia de espacio alrededor, será doble tela para cada forma.

After marking the mold on the fabric, I take out its shape leaving a difference of space around it, it will be double fabric for each shape.

La línea que queda en la tela yo la utilizo como una guía para aplicar la costura, en este caso rellenaré solo la cabeza y el cuerpo, por lo que dejaré un pequeño espacio para agregarle el relleno.

The line left on the fabric I use it as a guide to apply the stitching, in this case I will fill only the head and the body, so I will leave a small space to add the stuffing.

Luego de voltear la tela de tal manera que la costura quede hacia adentro, relleno y sello el espacio sobrante. Utilicé un material con el que se rellenan los peluches.

After turning the fabric over so that the seam is facing inward, I stuff and seal the excess space. I used a material used to stuff stuff stuffed animals.

Luego de terminar con cada figura estas se van uniendo una sobre otra.

After finishing each figure, they are joined one on top of the other.

Con la tela color rosa se hace parte de las orejas y el hocico del peluche. Las orejas tienen forma de gota de agua.

The pink fabric is used to make part of the ears and the muzzle of the stuffed animal. The ears are shaped like a drop of water.

Luego con las piedras de colores se adorna la cabeza del peluche, detrás de ellas se colocará el cuerno.

The head of the stuffed animal is then decorated with colored stones, and the horn is placed behind them.

Ya la pequeña figura va tomando forma, el cuerno es un triángulo de tela amarilla. Solo faltan los ojos, y los haré alternando un punto de costura con el hilo negro.

The little figure is already taking shape, the horn is a triangle of yellow fabric. Only the eyes are missing, and I will make them by alternating a stitch with the black thread.

Este pequeño unicornio mide menos de 10 cm en total, se puede utilizar como llavero o adorno para algún accesorio que gusten. Yo lo utilizaré como adorno para un obsequio que estoy haciendo. 🍀

This little unicorn measures less than 10 cm in total, it can be used as a keychain or as an ornament for any accessory you like. I will use it as an ornament for a gift I am making. 🍀
