I changed focus processing the university of lagos because of accomdation

Yeah, it's really stressful especially around that school area. I have a friend who couldn't get a place in her first year and she had to come from home throughout the session.

Lol... The struggle is real and I must say that I didn't really expect it to be that hard since you stay in Lagos.

In my case, I moved from Anambra to Ibadan last weekend. I have to make this clear, IT WAS VERY TOUGH.

And I haven't been to Ibadan before prior to this so, the whole stuff was a brave move from me. Luckily for me, I got to know of a former classmate who lives in Ibadan. That's actually what made stuff easier for me.

At the moment, I'm now in Ibadan and I'm now using the house for what I intended it for, but to be honest, I may be moving out next year into a place that is a 100% match for me.

This place isn't bad though.

In my own case, the landlady was all about "Hope You Are Not A Yahoo Boy".

Heheh... NIGERIA is backward shaaa. Very backward.

It's understandable settling for a choice even though it's not 100% what you want, at this point I think I will do the same.

Hope you're not a yahoo boy as if you'll tell her if you were one😂😂 I don't understand how they behave.

One asked me are you not too young to be looking for a place, where are your parents like what does that even mean, I can't want a place till I'm 50?

Lol... When I told Mamma (the landlady) that I'm a content Creator, she didn't understand the whole gist. Like, she kinda expected to hear Banker or Lawyer of whatever.

She even called her son so that I will explain myself to him. And it's really not encouraging. I mean, as far as I won't be indebted to her and I won't destroy her property, what's the essence of a background check? 😂

Well, Nigeria is wack. I say that alot.

As for Ibadan, I'm here doing my work and I'm not living in the noisy part do, I can't complain. It's been a good experience.

And the Yorubas I see here and too good to be living in Nigeria 😂. Seriously, those people are really good.

Not as wild as what I'm used to in Anambra.

I wish you a good one over there. You will find something that suits your taste

😂😂 yooo you told her you're a content creator, yeah that's one way for her to say you're a fraud😂😂 most of them don't understand what it means to just "create content" especially since you'll be with you laptop everytime.

😂😂 They don't care about that tbh. Situations like this are discouraging cause even if she gives you the place she'll put you under so much scrutiny every now and then.

It's nice that the yorubas in your area are good, it's not often you see those types in Lagos.

I hope I get a good one too, I'm having a hard time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel right now. Thank you though.

I have heard a lot of things about getting accommodation in Lagos.
Never experienced one myself.
