Jingle all the way……

So it is the Christmas season guys, season of merry, jingles and bright lights...yay!! 🎄🎅🤶 We started with the decorations at my work place already, things are starting to pop up and look merry. Christmas trees have been granted bail from the basement, Santa Claus have begun preparing his costumes while plans are been made on what to get loved ones for the season.

HOW ARE YOU SPENDING YOUR CHRISTMAS?

Pinky: "Brain what are we going to do this Christmas"

Brain: "Same thing we do every Christmas, try to take over the world or eat some chickens..."😛

Well, that's by the way. So Christmas started early for me this year. V as I like to call him decided to send my presents early in the month to torture me lol. Okay pause...there is a background story to that. I needed a dress for an upcoming event at my place of work, so he surprised me first by getting the dress for me. Although, it was supposed to be a lovely, red dinner dress...BUT...

EVER ORDERED AN ITEM BEFORE AND GOT SOMETHING DIFFERENT INSTEAD?

Opening up the package ushered me into a moment of confusion and shock lol, funny but true. The first thing that came to mind was “what the f**k?" I knew V wouldn’t have sent me the dress that came. So, I just knew it was from the store and they made an error with the delivery and there was someone else name on the receipt that came with it. I was pissed, he was disappointed, so we opted for a return and refund, which I hope goes through successfully.

V figured that since he was sending one item already (which I needed before Christmas) he should probably send the Christmas presents alongside which would make for an early one. So I got additional 5 packages alongside the dress, now here is the deal. I cannot open the presents till Christmas. Isn’t this torture? I mean I literally have to wake up every morning stare at them sitting on my table and not be able to open them. I have tried shaking it, finding a small hole to see what is inside but I already gave my word 🤶, now I feel like a thief each time I did that. Ah yes...I did ask for a hint but they only made my guessing worse.. I think he did that on purpose. 🙄

It has been years already but still feels like yesterday. Across the globe but close enough to make a beauty out of what we have. For always being there, through the happy, sad, frustrating and boring days....even keeping me company when stuck in traffic as he works, almost every day is amazing. I have got his on deck, and since I want to be petty, I am sending it before Christmas also, that way he knows how I feel right now. 😅
