We've seen the history of announcements made regarding WOO Land, and after all the hype about it and how great it'll be, it probably reached a point where people started asking, "SO WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT DO?"
The WOO Team were clearly anticipating this and had been spending their time writing up a nearly 3000 word essay on the "Complete Utility Guide" for land. I have probably posted this on numerous occasions in my past posts but for those who are curious, here's the link again.

I went to pick up my little drip of staking rewards today and decided to check out the other tabs on the site. I can buy WOObucks with PayPal?!! Nice! Are those the same as WOO, or another token? And then I can use them to buy things in the WOO shop... wherever that is. I only found a page with the land sale. $20 per piece, and plenty unsold...
If the WOObucks are not the same as WOO, can they still be traded for other tokens? Swap.Hive perhaps? That would definitely simplify buying Hive for me!

If you're familiar with Splinterlands, WOOBUCKS are essentially CREDITS. I don't think it has much use for people who're already firmly in the crypto ecosystem on HIVE, but it does help onboard new users with no idea about crypto more easily. This allows them to buy stuff from the game without needing to enter the crypto space at all. Think of it like those prepaid cards with credit?
And nope. WOOBUCKS aren't interchangeable with any HIVE tokens. They're just used to buy WOO products.
Hope that helps. All these are just based on my own understanding though. You could always pop into the WOO Discord to clarify with Bookerman. He's very active there. The link is somewhere at the footnote of my daily posts.

Thanks! It sounds like it wasn't the easy way to get Hive without signing up for an exchange that I had hoped for. But maybe you know some other way to use PayPal to get Hive?
