He had been walking aimlessly for days.

Surprisingly, while his thoughts seemed foggy, he did not feel the slightest bit of tiredness at all.

The bite on his arm had turned it gangrenous, giving off an unpleasant odour.

He had also developed an odd craving for fresh meat and brains.
