OK, sure, we're smack dab in the Middle of WINTER DOLDRUMS, as the snowy sailors like to say. Short days, snow on the ground, icy weather and often freezing winds blowing. BUT, nothing picks a gardener up, like the arrival of packages of seeds!

@minismallholding The Challenge I am hinting at here, is the one for #GroVid 22 that @dreemsteem mentioned we'd like to set up for maybe February? For a gardening Challenge.. Did you say that @riverflows might be interested too?

Looking good! That is an awesome selection of seed. Hubby said he's going to order some grow lights this week so we can get our seeds potted. Not as ambitious a project as yours though lol. Will let you know what I order haha!

Quite a selection of tomato seeds! Are you preserving them for winter? Otherwise, it is a lot to eat when they ripen 😂

Last year, on top of fresh white cherry tomato for snacks, plus fresh tomato for salads, and meals, etc, I made a few jars of mild and medium heat salsa, made jars of yellow and green salsa, made jars of 4 kinds of dried tomato, made gallons (still have a few left) of pasta sauces. PLUS, I gave some tomato away to neighbors and family.
This coming year, I have a NEW dehydrator, for drying even more.
I am working on my herb garden for this spring and planning it out. Need that basil for the caprese!

I was talking to my Mom and about the garden, we had as a kid. She was laughing about sending me out to get peas for dinner and how I would come back with 4 or 5 pea pods cuz I ate all the peas on the way back to the kitchen LOLL fresh peas are so sweet and yummy!!
