Tour of my INDOOR Seed growing and Starting Station!
I live in New England, which is the NORTH EAST COAST of the United States, and our growing season is really End of April to Mid October, most years. That's typically 170 or so growing days outside. BUT I like to get a head start, a little JUMP on my growing season.
Like many in my area, I start my seeds indoors, sometimes 2 or 3 months in advance, before transplanting them outside. Any seeds and seedlings, that take longer, get started inside.
I START Onions, Pepper, many Herbs like Oregano, Basil, Parsley, Mint, Thyme, Celery, and more. I start zucchini, eggplant, squashes, and cucumbers, too.
Not only vegetables. I also plant flowers: Bachelors Button, Marigold, Zinnia, Nasturtium, Sunflowers, and more!
Getting an extra few weeks of growing, means, by the time I transplant outside, my seedlings are healthier, stronger, and able to bear vegetables that much sooner!

That's a good set up, we all have to think about doing our starters soon, it's way less expensive than buying them these days
It's VERY Expensive buying the finished groceries, and even buying small plants is a lot of money now. Seeds are fairly cheap for a package. It's the best way to get started.

!!! wow I didn't realize how much longer your growing season is. Ok I researched and my growing season is longer than I thought lol but you still have a couple of extra weeks for sure.
And thats what its all about. We all need more of the things that make us smile and less of ... well everything else 🙂
Napping Area! Good luck moving Tucker lol. I have two napping area 😁 one upstairs, one on the main floor depending on the sunlight, temperature, how my back is feeling... or maybe I should be having this discussion with Tucker since he is the resident napping expert.
Tucker certainly is a SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT on napping.
Even though I have 170 growing days, that only really counts for certain things. Peppers and Tomato finish end of Sept. Usually the last 4-6 weeks are basically for growing cabbages, sprouts, greens, and some potato. None of the really warm weather stuff.
It looks great and at the same time your crop seems to be inside a spaceship hahaha like in fiction movies. I'm growing oregano for now, I'll see if I increase other species. Greetings
If is was you, I would definitely try and add more! The more the merrier, they say!
I'm working on that, except that I have a mix between garden and spice plants, and I would like to plant some tomatoes. I'll see where I get to, I'm at an initial point.
