Is this the TASTIEST Salsa... EVER?

Salsa, perfect for any snack, and great when it's fresh from your OWN garden! I grow quite a few of the ingredients for salsa, Tomato, Garlic, Onion, cilantro, Spicy and sweet Peppers. With some of my harvest, I love to make salsa: a sweet salsa, a medium, or a slightly spicier hot salsa! My gardens are in New England, zone 6b/7a.

Please let me know in the comments, have you ever made your OWN salsa? How did it come out?

Most of you know, I prefer to grow my own food, locally. It's healthier for my family, and for the planet. I know what goes into my foods, and what chemicals are NOT in my food. Also, It cuts down on carbon emissions, less trucking, planes, trains, and boats, to get fresh foods to my table.

And that makes me smile... better for the planet, better for my own family.

I love fresh salsa. We made lots earlier in the season when we were getting overwhelmed with tomatoes. We brought our jalapeno pepper plant in yesterday since its getting colder and it still has lots of peppers on it.

I'm not a big fan of the spicy and hot peppers, but I admit, I am going to plant something next season with some heat. Something Red, cuz, I want that red for when I make dehydrated pepper flakes, later in season.

Making your own salsa is the best way to do it. I think I might go grab the stuff to make some today. I would love to grow all my own salsa ingredients one day.

Works just GREAT with stuff you grab form a local grocer... tho, I LOVE the growing part, too!
