It's The Final Countdown!

For those of you following, you know, I am emptying the Grow Bags and slowly winding down the GroVid 21 season. Below, are the last two handfuls of Red Beard Bunching Onion. ... and the last of the Green Chives, as well.

The other Large Grow Bag I emptied today, was the Purple Carrot. Below, are the harvest results of Purple Carrot! The bunch of tiny Purple carrot in my hand, can be seen in the drainer, along with the larger Carrot harvested.

Also, Above, Note the Red Beard Bunching Onion, cleaned... and the bowl of Golden Peas and Oregon Giant Peas. In the ziploc bag, are the Greens from the Red Beard Bunching Onion. Later today, I am going to be Dehydrating the Chives, and a few batches of green onion. (Stay Tuned for Dehydrating Post!)

It's going to be exciting, to delve into this Dehydrating thing, as I hope it preserves some of the vegetables a little longer. If it is a success, look for a future purchase of a dedicated Dehydrator (mine now is actually a combo Air Fryer, Toaster Oven, Proofing Oven, Dehydrator). In addition, if I find it is easy and makes my harvest last longer, look forward to many more dehydrator posts in the upcoming GroVid 22 season!

Oh, and just because I am winding down my outside GroVid 21 challenge/Garden, I am not done gardening. I planted Arugula and Buttercrunch Lettuce indoors last night. I hope to have fresh lettuce all winter!
