Season Hunt challenge 2 - Leaves, leaves... leaves
When I say autumn I automatically think of leaves. Of course, autumn doesn't pick leaves, autumn shakes leaves. First, she colors them well, better than any painter, and then she throws them on the ground.
The beautiful and unique leaves can only be admired in autumn. In the trees and on the ground.
I became a leaf... hunter. The colorful leaves of autumn. Mostly girls and women are seen looking for the most beautiful leaves in the parks. A matter of sensitivity and romance. I too look for leaves but with the desire to photograph them.
This Sunday was gorgeous. Soft but bright sunshine, a friendly temperature. Perfect for a hunt! The wind does its hunting and then gathers the leaves plucked from the trees.
In this walk, I was more looking up. The light was coming from above, from the yellowing leaves.
I like the leaves that have already fallen off the branches and are now resting in the grass, on the paths, or on the park benches.
I'm lucky enough not to have to go all the way to a park to enjoy the colorful autumn leaves. I'm also not so lucky to live close to nature, to the woods, I don't live in the country. I do however have a small yard where I try to gather as many flowers and trees as possible.
One of my favorite flowers, the Hydrangea, gave me a nice surprise this fall. The leaves have become even more beautiful than the flowers!
On the fence, something I like best. Three generations of plants, with flowers, fruits, and... leaves.
Each leaf is unique, they don't look alike. There are so many and impossible to see them all. So I'll stop here.
This is my participation in the Season Hunt Challenge, this week's theme is LEAVES.
