Heavy rain poured this morning

Hello everyone.. have a nice day to you all.. i hope everyone's doing great today..

Yesterday the weather was extremely hot from morning until afternoon, but today is the exact opposite because since this morning, the rain has been pouring heavily with thunder and lightning. The wind is also strong, as if a typhoon just passed through. Because of the heavy rain, it feels nice to sip coffee while hanging out on our house balcony and watching the rain. There was no reported incoming typhoon, but the wind and rain feel like one anyway. While I sit here drinking coffee, my daughter is happily taking pictures of the rain and here are some of the photos she took.

It is very fortunate that my daughter has no classes today, because if she did, it would have been difficult for her since she has to take a ferry boat to get to her school, as we live on an island. In weather like this, crossing is extremely dangerous when there is heavy rain and strong wind. The Coast Guard cancels trips right away, and she might end up stranded in the city.
But anyway, she was also thrilled to take photos of the water splashing inside the drum, as well as on the rocks.

She also took pictures of the heavy rain pouring onto the tarp coming from the roof of the house.
