¡Hola amigos, feliz día! Espero que se encuentren bien y que hayan tenido un lindo día. Por mi parte, me encuentro bastante bien gracias a Dios, muy contenta de pasarme por aquí y compartirles el proceso y la experiencia que tuve personalizando algunas macetas que compré para mi hogar.

Algo que tenía bastante claro al cambiar de apartamento, es que quería que en este nuevo tuviéramos muchas plantas, sobre todo aprovechando que es bastante iluminado y que por supuesto, habíamos cambiado y restaurado algunas cosas de la sala como el mueble de la pecera que no sé si recuerden pero antes era más alto y de un color negro así que lo mandamos a recortar y a pintar de un dorado brillante, aún estamos en proceso de decorarlo a nuestro estilo, al igual que la sala que ya está casi completa y por supuesto, también estamos en proceso de armar nuevamente nuestra pecera pero vamos poco a poco.

Aprovechando que me regalaron y compré algunas plantas de interior como unos bambus y planta del dólar, quise decorar o más bien, personalizar unas macetas para que combinaran con los colores que tengo en la sala que son tonos dorados, beige, champagne, así que me puse manos a la obra y con algunas pinturas que encontré en casa empecé a darle color a la maceta.

Lo primero que hice fue darle color al fondo, en este caso quería que fuese un tono blanco así que le pase unas 3 manos o capas de pintura blanca que debo serles honesta, utilice pintura de pared ya que sentía que cubría mucho más. Una vez las tres capas estuvieron bien secas procedí a jugar con la imaginación y a aportar el color como tal, en este caso me decidí por unas especies de manchas sin simetría entre colores amarillo ocre y Siena quemada a los cuales les añadí un poco más de blanco para que tomarán ese tono nude.

Así fui haciendo por toda la maceta pero dejando algunos espacios entre si, a las manchas les pase unas 2 capas de pintura y me ayude con algunos pinceles delgados para los detalles como el contorno. Al final, sentía que le faltaba algo así que con ayuda de mi amigo pinterest encontré algunas ideas donde le hacían puntos negros o rayas que le daban el toque así que eso hice, con la punta contraria del pincel tomé un poco de pintura negra y le hice algunos puntos de diferentes tamaños entre las manchas.

Al final, así quedó el resultado que la verdad me gustó bastante, me di a la tarea de decorar dos de las macetas que compré ya que uno de los bambus ya tenía una pequeña maceta en porcelana blanca brillante, las dos que decoré decidí ponerlas en el mueble de la pecera y la verdad es que me gustó mucho como hacían juego con él, a demás de que siento que este espacio va cogiendo vida. Todavía falta terminar de armar el pequeño bar que le estamos haciendo abajo y claro, colocar algunos adornos pero mientras tanto, así va quedando amigos. ¿Qué les parece? ❤️

Something that I had quite clear when I changed apartments, is that I wanted to have many plants in this new one, especially taking advantage of the fact that it is quite illuminated and of course, we had changed and restored some things in the living room like the fish tank furniture that I don't know if you remember but before it was taller and of a black color so we had it trimmed and painted in a shiny gold, We are still in the process of decorating it to our style, as well as the living room which is almost complete and of course, we are also in the process of putting our fish tank back together but we are going little by little.

Taking advantage of the fact that I bought some indoor plants like bamboos and dollar plants, I wanted to decorate or rather, customize some pots to match the colors I have in the living room which are gold, beige, champagne, so I got down to work and with some paints that I found at home I started to give color to the pot.

The first thing I did was to give color to the background, in this case I wanted it to be a white tone so I applied 3 coats or layers of white paint that I must be honest, I used wall paint because I felt it covered much more. Once the three coats were well dry I proceeded to play with the imagination and to provide the color as such, in this case I decided on a kind of stains without symmetry between yellow ocher and burnt sienna colors to which I added a little more white to take that nude tone.

I did this all over the pot but leaving some spaces in between, I applied 2 coats of paint to the stains and helped myself with some thin brushes for the details like the outline. At the end, I felt that something was missing so with the help of my friend pinterest I found some ideas where they made black dots or stripes that gave the touch so that's what I did, with the opposite end of the brush I took some black paint and made some dots of different sizes between the spots.

In the end, this is the result that I really liked, I took the task of decorating two of the pots I bought since one of the bamboos already had a small pot in shiny white porcelain, the two that I decorated I decided to put them in the cabinet of the fish tank and the truth is that I really liked how they matched with it, besides I feel that this space is coming to life. We still need to finish the small bar we are making downstairs and of course, put some decorations, but in the meantime, this is how it is looking, friends. What do you think? ❤️
