Hola amigos, feliz ombligo de la semana. Espero que se encuentren bastante bien y que su semana este transcurriendo de la mejor manera. Por mi parte me encuentro bien, un poquito cansada ya que estoy en modo ''escolar'' ya que me ha tocado ayudar a mi sobrino con varias actividades de la escuela, sobre todo en esta temporada de Carnaval, pero bueno, no me quejo ya que así voy adquiriendo experiencia jajaja.

Pero volviendo al tema de este post, les cuento que hace unos días tuve la oportunidad de ir al centro comercial y probar uno de los postres que se ha vuelto parte de mis favoritos, se trata del mochi y aunque en un post anterior les hablé un poco sobre ellos, esta vez les hablaré sobre los nuevos sabores que me animé a probar y es que es algo que decidí hacer cada vez que visite el lugar para ver cuales terminan siendo mis sabores favoritos.

But back to the topic of this post, I tell you that a few days ago I had the opportunity to go to the mall and try one of the desserts that has become part of my favorites, it is the mochi and although in a previous post I told you a little about them, this time I will tell you about the new flavors that I was encouraged to try and it is something I decided to do every time I visit the place to see what end up being my favorite flavors.

Antes que nada debo decir que ampliaron más la pequeña isla, pusieron tipo un pequeño mesón y sillas para las personas que deseen consumir en el lugar, cosa que me encantó, ya que por lo general solíamos comprar y degustábamos el postre en otra parte del centro comercial. También nos dimos cuenta que ya tienen venta de sus helados artesanales y los potes o envases están demasiado hermosos, al igual que sus llamativos nombres que suenan realmente deliciosos, para la próxima tengo que comprar uno de estos a ver que tal resulta.

Habían tantas opciones de Mochi, pero como les dije al inicio quería probar sabores nuevos, así que esta vez me decidí por el caramelo salado ya que su nombre me causaba mucha curiosidad y también pedí uno de chocolate que si no estoy mal tiene por nombre Choco dark, Fer se decidió por el mismo de siempre jaja y es que realmente ese sabor le gusta mucho, manzana verde.

First of all I must say that they expanded the small island, they put a small counter and chairs for people who want to eat in the place, which I loved, since we usually used to buy and taste the dessert in another part of the mall. We also noticed that they already sell their handmade ice cream and the pots or containers are too beautiful, as well as their striking names that sound really delicious, for the next time I have to buy one of these to see how it turns out.

There were so many Mochi options, but as I told you at the beginning I wanted to try new flavors, so this time I decided for the salted caramel since its name made me very curious and I also asked for a chocolate one that if I'm not wrong is called Choco dark, Fer decided for the same as always haha and he really likes that flavor, green apple.

Hasta el momento he probado el de choco menta, chocolate blanco con frambuesa, manzana verde y el triple chocolate, siendo el de chocolate blanco con frambuesa y el triple chocolate mis favoritos. Hay otros sabores que tengo en lista como el de Maracuyá, yogurt con cerezas, pistacho, banana con nutella que me gustaría probar, pero lo haré poco a poco.

La nueva presentación de entrega me pareció demasiado hermosa, es perfecta para un regalo y si les soy sincera esto es algo que me gusta bastante del lugar, cada vez que voy hay nuevo empaque, primero era un vasito, luego paso a una caja alargada pequeña donde cabían 3 mochis y ahora es una caja tipo tie dye donde caben unos 9 mochis.

I found the new delivery presentation too beautiful, it is perfect for a gift and if I'm honest this is something I really like about the place, every time I go there is new packaging, first it was a small cup, then it was a small elongated box where 3 mochis fit and now it is a tie dye type box where 9 mochis fit.

Ahora bien, hablando sobre los nuevos sabores, creo que el de caramelo salado lo pintaba o me lo imaginaba diferente, tipo una combinación dulce con un toque salado, pero realmente su sabor me hizo acordar al arequipe o dulce de leche, sin embargo estaba muy rico pero no fue mi favorito.

Por otra parte, el de chocolate estaba delicioso, se sentía bastante cremoso, con trocitos de chocolate y aunque estaba bastante marcado su sabor a chocolate no me pareció empalagoso ni pesado, al contrario, me gustó muchísimo.

Algo que me encanta de este postre es que a demás de ser un helado artesanal, la mayoría son libres de gluten y hay variedad en la base con que son preparados, es decir, algunos son a base de agua, otros a base de leche de coco o leche de vaca y otros son veganos. El de manzana verde por ejemplo, es vegano a base de agua, el de caramelo salado es a base de leche de vaca y el choco dark es vegano a base de leche de coco.

Now, talking about the new flavors, I think I imagined the salted caramel flavor to be different, like a sweet combination with a salty touch, but its flavor really reminded me of arequipe or dulce de leche, however it was very tasty but it was not my favorite.

On the other hand, the chocolate one was delicious, it felt quite creamy, with chocolate chips and although it was quite marked its chocolate flavor did not seem cloying or heavy, on the contrary, I liked it very much.

Something I love about this dessert is that besides being an artisanal ice cream, most of them are gluten free and there is variety in the base with which they are prepared, that is, some are water based, others are coconut milk or cow's milk based and others are vegan. The green apple, for example, is water-based vegan, the salted caramel is cow's milk-based and the choco dark is coconut milk-based vegan.

Por los 3 mochis pagamos un total de $13.503 Pesos Colombianos ($3,41 Dólares) es decir, que cada uno salió como en $3.700 pesos Colombianos ($0,94 Dólar) y la verdad hasta donde recuerdo ese precio se ha mantenido fijo. Sin duda, este pequeño bocadillo es realmente delicioso y adictivo, es la hora y no deja de pensar en que quiero comer otra jajaja. Pero bueno, ya será para la próxima visita al centro comercial.
