Back in Madrid!
Well, here we are back! Second day in Madrid with many beautiful details about my tour around the center of Madrid.
We continue with a lot of momentum in this 3rd installment of the series |Blukei's On Track| where we return to the first destination to live new adventures.
Hold on to your seats, we are off to our next destination: Back to Downtown Madrid!
Devuelta en Madrid!
Bueno, aquí estamos de vuelta! Segundo día en Madrid con muchos detalles hermosos sobre mi recorrido por todo el centro de Madrid.
Continuamos con mucho ímpetu en esta 3ra entrega de la serie |Blukei's On Track| donde retornamos al primer destino para vivir nuevas aventuras.
Agarrense fuerte de sus asientos, partimos a nuestro próximo destino! ¡Devuelta al Centro de Madrid!
We started the day early after a good homemade breakfast with a base of bread, ham, cheese and a glass of orange juice. After this we set off to walk around the city, stumbling upon beautiful surroundings.
Iniciamos el día bien temprano tras un buen desayuno hecho en casa con una base de pan, jamón, queso y un vaso de jugo de naranja. Luego de esto partimos a caminar por la ciudad, topandonos con entornos muy bonitos.
We headed to our first destination, the famous Royal Palace of Madrid. As we passed by each street I have to say that I personally think that the architecture inside Madrid is amazing, each building has unique details and incredible finishes.
Before arriving at the Palace we find a beautiful cathedral in front called the Almudena Cathedral. This cathedral is quite large and takes up a lot of space, so it is visible from far away.
We had the opportunity to enter for a brief moment to one of its spaces and inside it is even more beautiful, although I have to admit that I was afraid of very big cathedrals back then hahahahahaha, fear that I lost later and I will tell you in future installments.
Nos dirigimos a nuestro primer destino, el famoso Palacio Real de Madrid. Al pasar por cada calle tengo que decir que en lo personal pienso que es asombrosa la arquitectura dentro de Madrid, cada edificación posee unos detalles únicos y unas terminaciones increíbles.
Antes de llegar al Palacio nos encontramos con una bella catedral que queda al frente llamada la Catedral de Almudena. Esta catedral es bastante grande y toma bastante espacio, por lo cual es visible desde lejos.
Tuvimos la oportunidad de entrar por un breve momento a uno de sus espacios y por dentro es aún más bonita, aunque tengo que admitir que tenía miedo a las catedrales muy grandes en ese entonces hahahahaha, miedo que perdí más adelante y les contaré en futuras entregas.
Finally! We arrived at the Royal Palace of Madrid, this palace is quite big compared to the ones I have seen, so personally the first thing we did was to take pictures of it.
Por fin! Llegamos al Palacio Real de Madrid, este palacio es bastante grande en comparación a los que he visto, así que en lo personal lo primero que hicimos fue tomar fotos del mismo.
At the side of the palace we can see a very peculiar viewpoint, called the Mirador de la Cornisa del Palacio Real. I have to say that it is a spectacular view and it is worth to pass by, take pictures and have a great time.
Al costado del palacio podemos ver un mirador bastante peculiar, llamado el Mirador de la Cornisa del Palacio Real. Tengo que decir que es una vista espectacular y que merece la pena pasar, hacerse fotos y pasarla fenomenal.
From here we move on to the Plaza Mayor, a square that many of us have seen in Spanish series. It is famous for its rectangular formation and its commercial environment. Likewise, I was amazed with the surroundings in general.
A partir de aquí pasamos a la Plaza Mayor, una plaza que muchos hemos visto dentro de las series españolas. La misma es famosísima por su formación rectangular y su entorno comercial. De igual forma, quedé asombrado con el entorno en general.
After spending a pretty nice time, buying souvenirs, eating a little and watching flamenco dancing (at that time a school was putting on a show), we moved on in search of our next destination, the Prado Museum.
This happens to be one of the most important museums in Madrid which has a rule that for visits within the last 2 hours of the day the tickets are free. Anyway, in order to take advantage of this offer, we are on our way to the museum when we come across something that many of us heard as children but never saw.
Tras pasar un tiempo bastante bonito, comprar souvenires, comer un poco y ver el baile flamenco (que en ese momento estaba una escuela haciendo un espectáculo), nos trasladamos en búsqueda del próximo destino, el Museo del Prado.
Este resulta ser uno de los museos más importantes de Madrid el cual tiene una regla que para las visitas dentro de las 2 últimas horas del día las entradas son gratis. En fin, con el objetivo de aprovechar esta oferta, vamos de camino al museo cuando nos encontramos con algo que muchos escuchamos de niños pero nunca vimos.

After seeing this important institution from the outside, we proceeded to stand in line for tickets to the Museum, sat on the side of the museum and chatted to wait for the time.
We entered the Museum to have our tour and see all the impressive works that this museum had to offer.
At the end, throughout the night, we took the time to head to the train to our next destination, the very famous Barcelona!

La Real Academia Española, con una fachada simple pero bien sólida, al costado del Museo del Prado.
Luego de ver desde fuera esta importante institución, procedemos a hacer la fila para las entradas al Museo, nos sentamos al costado del museo a conversar para esperar la hora.
Entramos al Museo para tener nuestro recorrido y ver todas las obras impactantes que tenía este museo para ofrecernos.
Al final, a lo largo de la noche, tomamos el tiempo para dirigirnos al tren en dirección al próximo destino, la famosísima Barcelona!
