The Visual Monomad Photographic Challenge My Entry #162- A woman's struggle

Hi all..
How are you all today? I hope you are well wherever you are.

As always, I'll be taking on the black and white photography challenge of this incredible community.

Well, in my post this time. I will write about a woman selling on the roadside to provide for her family.

Yes, the woman's name is Halimah. Usually called as "Nek Mah". Every day he sells here.

As usual, before I take a photo and write a story about the object of my lens shot. I always ask permission first. And I also met him who was peddling his wares.

"Nek Mah" who is now 60 years old, but still has a passion for selling for the needs of his family. According to her story, she no longer has her husband. His children have also moved to the city family, so he currently lives alone in his house.

Even so, Nek Mah leaves the house every morning to sell. The goods sold are in the form of fried peanuts and betel.

Because I have been given permission to photograph him. I also bought the merchandise. But I returned it for resale. Actually, I wanted to give him the money. However, I'm afraid he's offended by my gift. Yes, from the start he had said that he was not a beggar. And he doesn't want to be called a beggar. So, I bought his merchandise and gave it to him for resale.

Well, from the story told to me. I can conclude that age is not a barrier for anyone who wants to try and work to earn money. He also advised me to always try and pray to get what we aspire to and always be kind and honest in living life in this world. This is my short writing on this occasion. Hopefully this article can inspire us and be useful.
