Today I want to continue to share with you the photos that I took while walking around the center of St. Petersburg shortly before the New Year.

The last time I stopped at how I went for a walk further from the Alexandrinsky Theater.

Near the theater is Ostrovsky Square. In fact, this place is more like a small park. I liked the night lights in this park.

Here under the trees are special spotlights that illuminate the trees. The bare branches of winter trees in the light of the spotlights look quite interesting.

In the middle of the square is a monument to Empress Catherine II.

There were benches and old-fashioned lanterns around the monument .

A lot of people walked in the park and it was not easy for me to take a photo so that people did not get into the frame.

Walking a bit here I went on to Nevsky Prospect.

When I went to Nevsky Prospect, the first thing I saw was the house of the merchants Eliseevs. This is a famous historic building.

Nevsky Prospect was very beautifully decorated before the New Year and despite the fact that I was going to finish my walk, I still decided to walk a little more. But I’ll talk about this next time.
