Dahomis light and shadow
Playing with light and shadow is the essence of Low Key photography. Although I have not yet mastered this technique to perfection, I love the results I get from practicing this theme with Dahomis.
This was one of those occasions when we took the afternoon to shoot in the studio using this type of side lighting to highlight the silhouette of her body with the contrast of lit and dark areas.
This style is ideal for highlighting volumes to give drama to the model with photographs that are deeper in composition.
Soon I will be sharing more of my more artistic work. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
