Firefight in the Ruins.

Abby comforted Lev inside a building before navigating a zone heavily guarded by WLF soldiers. Multiple game crashes interrupted photo mode attempts during both stealth and open combat sequences. Rebounding from the technical frustrations, I systematically eliminated the soldiers using a mix of silenced shots and a final shotgun blast.

We ran inside a nearby building for temporary safety, pulling Lev along through the corridors. After shutting the doors securely behind us, Abby worked to convince the grieving kid that they needed to push forward and survive, though Lev remained entirely frozen in shock after losing his sister.

We pushed ahead into a flooded open space that was completely swarming with hostile WLF soldiers actively hunting for us. I tried to stay hidden, but an enemy spotted my position, and the game suddenly crashed right as I was attempting to set up some captures in photo mode.

I was forced to reload the game and approach the entire section with an extra level of caution. It became obvious that the WLF soldiers were dead set on taking us down at all costs, patrolling the flooded paths with their weapons raised.

Fortunately, my patience paid off when I managed to catch one of the soldiers completely off guard. I secured a tight grasp on him, executed a silent takedown, and left his lifeless body floating quietly in the dark water.

I noticed a female soldier changing her patrol route to head directly toward the floating body I had just left behind. Moving quickly before she could raise an alarm, I intercepted her and brought her down using the same stealth approach.

A third soldier marched into the immediate vicinity, leaving me without an angle for a quiet approach. I opened fire to eliminate her, which immediately alerted the rest of the squad, but the game froze a second time the moment I triggered photo mode mid-combat.

Growing incredibly fed up with the continuous system crashes, I abandoned photo mode entirely upon the next restart and immediately opened fire on the approaching squad. I advanced aggressively through the flooded structures without wasting any more time on setup.

After clearing out the vast majority of the hostile forces patrolling the ground level, I scaled the nearby debris to secure a high ground advantage. From this vantage point, I carefully aimed and dropped another soldier using the silenced gun.

I scanned the area and located the absolute last remaining soldier in the sector, who was frantically looking around for my location. I quietly dropped down directly behind him and ended the intense encounter by blowing his head off with a powerful shotgun shell.
We'll check what happens next in another post.
