Almost Convinced.

Leaving Alice behind, Abby and Yara discussed the dangerous consequences Lev faced from his tribe before searching a gift shop to cheer him up. After locating a shark toy and mapping out Santa Barbara with Yara, Abby rejected Owen's travel pleas to pursue Lev, who was fleeing by boat.

We had to leave Alice, the dog, behind, and the ladies kept looking for Lev, but the kid was not around to be found. They checked the main exhibits and the corridors, calling out his name into the empty spaces of the facility, but only silence echoed back.

Then Abby and Yara had a conversation about how Lev transformed her behavior and how he became a pain for their tribe, mentioning their mom would kill him, found him in this way. Yara explained the strict rules of the Seraphites, detailing the severe punishment that awaited her brother for breaking their sacred traditions.

Then suddenly Abby said she had an idea about finding something to cheer Lev up. And that's when they saw this gift shop area, where they decided to go next to find a gift item for the kid, hoping a small gesture would help ease his growing distress.

After getting inside, they found this big wall map, and after seeing it, Yara asked where Santa Barbara is. So Abby showed her where they were and where Santa Barbara is, tracing her finger across the map to show the distance between the two locations.

Then we kept looking for a gift for the kid. After checking the place thoroughly, I found this short toy that looked cool, picking up a small stuffed shark from one of the dusty shelves that seemed like something the young boy would genuinely appreciate.

Yara said it's perfect, and then she told Abby, Mel was wrong about Abby. And she said it to comfort Abby. And then suddenly Owen came over and said she had something to talk with Abby, interrupting the quiet moment of connection between Abby and Yara.

While Yara went down the hallway to look for Lev, Owen asked Abby if she was coming to Santa Barbara with them, but Abby said she wasn't, so Owen tried to convince her. And it looked like Abby was almost convinced.

But suddenly they heard Yara screaming, so they headed down the hallway and found Lev was leaving the place, taking a boat. Through the , they watched the small vessel pulled away from the pier, cutting through the rough waves toward the open water.

As the kid was heading toward the island, which could be dangerous for him, Abby decided to go after him, taking Yara along, and Owen also decided to join, but Abby didn't take him, as he was needed for Mel as Mel was pregnant.
We'll check what happens next in another post.

End of the post.
Peace.
Yara stepping up to defend Abby's character was an incredible moment of friendship. Then it looked like you finally found the perfect gift for Lev just for him to immediately steal a boat and sail away.
The kid basically said, "Thanks for the shark. Anyway, I'm going away".

Dropping into the gift shop to find something to cheer up Lev was a sweet idea. And that stuffed shark look like the perfect choice.
Yeah, it wasn't a grand gesture, just a simple act of kindness.
Owen chose the absolute worst time to try and have a deep conversation about moving away. But I liked that moment when Abby asked Owen to stay straight on his priorities.
Yeah bro, Owen's timing was absolutely terrible.
This chapter highlights how much Abby has changed through her relationship with Lev. She tries to comfort him with a simple gift, showing a softer and more caring side of her character.
Right. Earlier in the story, she was focused almost entirely on survival and revenge, but now she's paying attention to someone else's feelings.
