Wiping Out Rattlers.

I navigated a Rattler-infested area using silenced submachine gun and knife to silently eliminate patrols. After taking down a guard and her sniffing dog, I used a smoke bomb against a helmeted group, triggering a brief firefight before clearing the remaining enemy with a precise sniper shot.

Hoping to conserve ammunition for my silenced submachine gun, I pushed into the next section of the camp. Ahead, I spotted a Rattler wearing a heavy helmet, ruling out a quick long-range headshot.

Exercising patience, I waited in the shadows for the right moment to strike. When the guard turned his back, I crept up, grabbed him from behind, pulled him into cover, and finished him quietly with my knife.

Checking the nearby building, I spotted another Rattler patrolling the interior. After verifying he was completely isolated, I decided to save my ammo and stick to stealth. I waited for him to pause near a doorway, then slipped inside.

I dragged him into a dark corner, and executed a clean stealth kill. Sweeping the room, I scavenged a solid batch of supplies and a fresh stack of submachine gun ammo resting on a table beside him.

Moving to the other side of that same building, I noticed a female Rattler patrolling the open yard with a guard dog. Crouching low in the tall grass, I waited for them to loop back around toward my position.

Suddenly, the dog picked up my scent and started tracking toward the grass. Before it could alert the camp or close the distance, I stood up and quickly shot both the handler and the dog with the silenced submachine gun.

The quiet shots dropped both targets instantly without raising an alarm across the rest of the property.

Advancing further into the camp, I encountered a pair of Rattlers both wearing heavy helmets that would block standard silenced rounds. Wanting to soften them up, I tossed an explosive device into their cluster.

The throw turned out to be a stun or smoke bomb instead, failing to kill them outright and alerting a third Rattler nearby. As all three enemies scattered to investigate, I grabbed the closest guard to take her down, but a second guard spotted us and opened fire.

I returned fire, dropping him quickly before stepping back to spot the final Rattler. Raising my sniper rifle, I lined up the crosshairs and took the shot, dropping the last guard to clear the area completely.
We'll check what happens next in another post.

Peace.
Waiting for the guard to turn around and then dragging him into cover was a perfect way to save ammunition. The stealth approach through the Rattler camp was clean.
Sometimes waiting a few extra seconds is all it takes to avoid a messy fight.
The Rattler dog suddenly picking up your scent was probably the last thing you wanted, but the quick silenced shots kept the whole camp from going into panic mode. You did really well there.
That dog really came close to ruining the entire stealth plan.
That smoke bomb definitely did not go according to plan, especially after it alerted another Rattler and turned a quiet takedown into a messy little firefight. But you handled the situation afterwards quite professionally.
Yeah, that smoke bomb definitely caused more trouble than expected.
